Hello everyone dear Hivers friends and welcome back to my blog. My role as an art teacher often leads me to organize educational field trips with my young students.

So I took my students to draw and paint in a wonderful place, an ancient square in my city of Roman origin, Terracina

The best artistic activities are certainly those from life, in front of a tower, an arch, a capital, architectures and monuments that the children love to reproduce and in this way they take possession of them, defending them.

Drawing and painting from life are artistic activities practiced since the time of the ancient Greeks and will become a widespread practice throughout the world.

I always feel great joy and satisfaction in seeing my students at work, and in the meantime I too find time to paint something, as I did on our morning visit.

Dipingendo in piazza - acquarelli su carta

Ciao a tutti cari amici Hivers e bentornati sul mio blog. Il mio ruolo di insegnante di arte spesso mi porta ad organizzare delle uscite didattiche sul territorio con i miei giovani studenti. Così ho portato i miei alunni a disegnare e a dipingere in un luogo meraviglioso, una antica piazza della mia città di origine romana, Terracina.

Le migliori attività artistiche sono certamente quelle dal vero, di fronte ad una torre, un arco, un capitello, architetture e monumenti che i ragazzi amano riprodurre ed in questo modo se ne impossessano, difendendoli. Il disegno e la pittura dal vero sono attività artistiche praticate fin dai tempi degli antichi greci e diventerà una pratica diffusa in tutto il mondo.

Provo sempre una grande gioia e soddisfazione nel vedere all'opera i miei studenti e nel frattempo trovo anch'io il tempo di dipingere qualcosa, come ho fatto nella nostra visita mattutina.
