Hi everyone,

Unfortunately today I’m writing a very sad post. Camilla, a very sweet life partner cat, left us after 19 years! For a few days she hadn't eaten with the same enthusiasm and, when for two consecutive evenings we didn't see her come home, we immediately understood what had happened.
I’m very sorry to know that you will no longer be with me, but I’m comforted a little because I know that you have lived a healthy and happy life, where food, play and cuddles have never been lacking! She was to all intents and purposes a member of the family and I realize that, unfortunately, this is the natural course of life. I will always love you, Camilla!
Simple photos are not enough to remind you, so I decided to draw a digital illustration that represents you on a soft pillow / flying carpet while you dream of one of those mice you liked to chase. The illustration was made with Adobe Illustrator.

Ciao a tutti,
Purtroppo quello di oggi è un post molto triste. Camilla, una dolcissima gatta compagna di vita, ci ha lasciati dopo ben 19 anni! Da qualche giorno non mangiava più con lo stesso entusiasmo e, quando per due sere consecutive non l’abbiamo più vista tornare a casa, abbiamo subito capito cosa fosse successo.
Mi dispiace molto sapere che non sarai più con me, ma un po’ mi consolo perché so che hai vissuto una vita sana e felice, dove il cibo, il gioco e le coccole non sono mai mancate! Era a tutti gli effetti una componente della famiglia e mi rendo conto che, purtroppo, questo è il corso naturale della vita. Ti vorrò bene per sempre, Camilla!
Per ricordarti le semplici foto non bastano, per cui ho deciso di disegnare un’illustrazione digitale che ti rappresenta su un morbido cuscino/tappeto volante mentre sogni uno di quei topolini che ti piaceva rincorrere (aihmè!). Il disegno è stato realizzato in Adobe Illustrator.
Mi fa molto piacere condividere questo ricordo con la community di Hive e spero che vi piaccia il disegno. Grazie per aver letto!
