Fledgling Bushtits

by @corvidae

“It started with walking the dog, camera in tow just in case. We hadn't gotten far, maybe a block from the apartment, when we came upon a very noisy tree. I recognized all the little peeps as bushtit calls” this is how this nice post by corvidae starts. The author shares with us a selection of photos representing an adorable group of bushtits. They are super tiny, fast and a real challenge for photographers. In the end you can also appreciate a beautiful video. Don’t miss it!

Temple

by @mohanraj

The artist mohanraj shows us a beautiful watercolor painting in A3 paper called “Temple”. The works took about 3 hours. “Too complex to paint with lot of details. Finally I had to ignore details and paint loose. Drawing wasn't that good so little off from reference. Handmade paper tends to rip off when doing layers. Difficult to do faces” the author told us. In the post you can see some steps of the creative process.
