Behind Hive: Meeting with Borjan

in Discovery-it4 years ago

Hi everyone,

The Discovery-it project "Behind Hive" continues. It takes care of presenting to the Community some of the most interesting authors that we have had the good fortune to meet on this path.

In particular, today we take you to discover @Borjan! He is an Eastern European author who joined Steemit in April 2019 and is currently active here on Hive.

He introduces himself in this way: “I live in the town near the sea and mostly do drawings, paintings, photographs and various combinations of those three.I did even some art school. Long ago”.
From the author’s posts we can understand what Borjan's main passions are: nature, photography, insects, plants and much more!

We are particularly attached to this author because, from the beginning, we understood his great passion for the natural world and we tried to actively support him.

Below, you can find some posts that we think are particularly noteworthy and that have breached our hearts!

Enjoy the reading!

Fungi Friday - Little red umbrellas

This was the first post we noticed from Borjan. We were immediately struck by the sensitivity with which the photo had been taken.
In fact, from these first shots, we had understood that Borjan would give us wonderful posts in the near future.
We have chosen to insert this small post as the first one, precisely because, as behind the dry leaves fallen on the ground there was a magnificent mushroom, behind an apparent simple click, all the author's sensitivity is enclosed.

My entry for LMAC #19 - New challenge! [32 STEEM Power in the prize pool]

Maybe not everyone is used to a similar level of creativity. What immediately struck us about the author was his ability to make original and creative everything he presented in his blog, and how not to mention the work contained in "My entry for LMAC", where Borjan gives free room for his creativity by creating a unique and truly incredible collage?
We are not talking about the classic computer-modified photo, but about an entire creative process that ends with the realization of the work.

SUMMER ADVENTURES - episode 2 - Coastal reeds

The story of this post begins with a ladybug who "seems almost too flat, tidy and empty to be natural, almost like a fabric of a garment or a bag".
Borjan shows us some sensational photos taken in a place where, in the early morning, there is always some humidity. Even on the hottest and most dusty summer day, water pearls form on the leaves. The place is always full of hungry, common and less common mosquitoes, but we also find ants and ladybugs. The latter mainly deal with hunting aphids or mate. The post ends by showing us other delicious little creatures: spiders, a snail firmly closed in its shell covered with dust, crickets and moths.

SUMMER ADVENTURES - Episode 22 – SUMMER IN THE DEEP SHADE

Another noteworthy adventure. Borjan, during his publication, has accustomed us to fantastic shots surrounded by nature. Inside SUMMER ADVENTURES, Episode 22, we find a series of images among insects, mammals, reptiles and small mushrooms.
The accuracy of the photos and the precise moments in which they were taken, manage to convey the beauty of these animals to the maximum. What to say? A truly fantastic post. Getting lost in the details of these animals is truly suggestive, I don't think you've seen anything like it even on world-famous channels like Discovery Channel.

INSIDE THE SMALL CIRCLE OF ANTS

Here the author shows us a meeting of ants around a small spot of edible fatty sauce, which had fallen from the author's cat's plate. The ants were very quick to discover the new delicious bite! In the end, Borjan also shows us a short video of the feeding process.

We hope you enjoyed this post and that it helped you get to know this fantastic author better. If you haven't already done so, start following him in order not to miss the next posts!

Ciao a tutti,

Buona lettura!

Fungi Friday - Little red umbrellas

My entry for LMAC #19 - New challenge! [32 STEEM Power in the prize pool]

SUMMER ADVENTURES - episode 2 - Coastal reeds

SUMMER ADVENTURES - Episode 22 – SUMMER IN THE DEEP SHADE

INSIDE THE SMALL CIRCLE OF ANTS
