Actifit Web Blog Page
As highlighted in our 2023 plans DHF proposal (if you haven't supported us yet, please do so here), we are expanding our hive front end support by introducing new functionality, services, and community integrations for actifit with more hive initiatives.
Although Actifit had supported front end display hive posts for a long while, yet our users had no full view for all their different content on hive.
We decided to introduce new links on every user's profile, enabling direct access to their hive blog.
We want our users to have direct access to their other content that resides on the chain, but also means of access to hive and its many .dapps
As of now, we have added links to actifit reports, hive blog, and 3speak videos as you can notice below
Similar links are also accessible from the right side user menu
For the purposes of the hive blog display, we have utilized a somewhat similar view to the actifit report card, yet with additional details and snippet info about the content.
You can view the content in a popup mode, or via post direct link clicking on the title.
You have access to the same actions as the activity view.
If you are viewing your own blog/video, you can also click the edit button, and a popup will allow you to perform edits on any of your content (create new posts coming soon 🤩)
3Speak Dedicated Videos Page
Similarly to the above, we wanted to give our users direct access to 3speak videos they created under a dedicated screen, as we believe content creators might be interested in either blogging textually, or via video.
Clicking on any of the videos for a popup display will allow you to play the video directly, as we recently introduced embedded video support on actifit.io web as shown below.
As in the blog section, you can also edit the video post by clicking the edit button. Creating videos is something we are also working on with 3speak team and we should have available soon🕺📹
Other Improvements
As highlighted above, we have appended links to both new sections under the profile, the user menu. We have also added other links on the profile, alongside post count.
We have also implemented further UI/UX improvements and bug fixes across actifit.io
Additionally, we have updated our canonical links for all posts displayed on actifit.io to ensure they properly reflect the app used to create the content. This includes peakd, ecency, leofinance and 3speak.
Next Steps
We have been working on integrating hive key chain to actifit web, so expect this to be out real soon. We also plan to launch post creation and video creation capability from within actifit.io web as well as mentioned above, among a large scale list of functionality in the pipeline.
We also plan to announce a new partnership with hive initiative soon.
