Whoaaaa what a world cup this has been!
Full of surprises, happiness, and tears for supporters of different teams. Eventually, though, there can only be one!
Today was the final game between France and Argentina, following yesterday's 3rd place game between Morocco and Croatia.
The latter ended in a win for Croatia (2-1), landing it 3rd place in the official World Cup ranking.
As for the final game, it was a crazyyyy wild game, with Argentina leading the way with 2 goals up till the 80th minute when France equalized in 2 consecutive goals ending the full time at 2-2.
Extra time Argentina added 1 more goal, and was later equalized again by France to end at 3-3.
Eventually, penalty kicks gave away the game and the world cup title to Argentina (4-2).
Congrats to Argentina, landing its 3rd ever world cup title (1978, 1986, and 2022). Well played.
Tough luck to France, whose record remains as 2 times winner of world cup (1998 and 2018).

Wonderful, am grateful for the win. Very true that last match was quite entertaining especially the last few minutes. Congratulations to Argentina and looking forward to the next world cup which should be quite entertaining. This world cup started with 32 teams but the next one will have 48 teams starting, it will be fun.
