Just a ‘me, myself and I’ day at work. I had the Swarovski frame rep first for the day. The frames are very sparkly and very pretty. We carry just a small sampling as they are also a bit pricey.
I got all of the billing done for December and what’s passed in January thus far for the doc. I may not have explained this before, but in addition to the clinic, he performs eye exams at another optical shop as an independent doctor. I have all that billing to do in addition to ALL of my other tasks that the clinic has. He had brought me 6 weeks worth of that ‘outside’ billing.
I logged all the insurance checks, verified insurance for tomorrow’s appointments, pulled charts, called patients to remind them of their appointments, researched some checks without EOB’s (explanation of benefits), which entailed a bit of time on the phone, hung an electrical strip, put away my desktop Christmas decorations, rearranged my desk, processed incoming glasses orders-you get the picture! A lot of things!🙃 I could have used more time as alas, it is never truly finished!
@actifit-lamb is looking forward to the weekend as she knows the forecast is for no rain! She wants to go hiking! I’m sure she’s going to ask about having a tea part with her sisters and cousins up along the trail. I will pack along what she needs so she’ll have a good time! 🐑💜

Sounds like you had a really busy day, taking care of bills, forms and documents is always so draining.
It was very busy! I am an optician in a small private optical shop. Today, it was just me and the doc, so I did the front end, the back end and worked with every patient after their exam. I have had to learn to seriously multitask!
