Zoey and I had a beautiful walk this afternoon. There are no brilliant maples at the park, so I enjoyed the soft colors and faded pastels of the meadows and trees.
There was so much beauty all around us. I suddenly felt chagrined for not inviting a friend to join me! Other than the very occasional person with a dog, we had the entire gorgeous place to ourselves.
