We played a couple of hard eighteen-hole disc golf games today. In the first round, we played off the red tee pads and the scores were -3 to a +11. In the second round, we played off the blue tee pads and scored +11 to +33.
I think we were both really tired by the second round and were not playing as well as usual. My arm was getting a workout. It feels fine now but I think I will rest up tomorrow. I don't have a tournament until Sunday so I should be able to recover by then.
My friend had a record-high score of +12 on a par 4. He was having a bit of trouble going out of bounds. Hopefully, he will do better in the tournament coming up. He is playing off the red tees so I think he will be fine.

It was a lot of fun to be out playing today and the weather was a lot better than we were thinking it would be. We were both prepared for rain but it stayed dry the entire day.

+12 on a Par 4 is a bad bad day
I think we've all had a bad hole where you really should be pitching out or laying up a putt but you just have to take those extra risks and make up a few throws because you are already behind in the count. It is kind of brutal watching it happen to someone else as well as doing it yourself, lol.
Actually, it was 8 over par on a par 4 or 12 total throws (with penalties included). Maybe that should be a +8?
That still sucks.. but more easily explained lol
I can’t help to be amazed by the beautiful color of the sunset, it’s warm but not too saturated red/orange. The contrast is spot-on as well. Great shot!

Indeed. The color of nature doesn't need retouching when captured at the right time. It's the "golden hour" effect.

Thank you. That was a quick picture taken out of the car window while we were briefly stopped. I think I was using the 10x optical zoom to focus mainly on the tree tops.

Thank you. I am gradually improving but need to take things a bit more easily. It is not slowing me down too much so I am happy about that.

There have been a few sunsets and sunrises recently with beautiful colors. I'm not always able to get photos of them but I try if I have an opportunity. The clouds have to be just right to bring out the colors and many times it will be too overcast or clear for them to come out.
