What an exhausting day, but also what a rewarding day at the same time!
Finally we got the phone call we have been waiting for . Dad is allowed to go home!
The process was a lot but at the same time was very swift, and truly by the grace of God within 2 hours after the letter was issued we can go home.
Previously I actually got the staffs of both shifts of the floor some nice chocolates with the help of my brother and the kids; this time I decided to give the doctor who has been personally attending to my dad the last 26 days including operation, post operation check, helping my dad with his constipation woes 🙈 😱 💩 some colourful multi flavoured chocolate and the thank you card instead.
I didn’t get to see him personally to thank him but I have specifically written his initials there.
What a way to celebrate Independence Day!
After all the traffic jam and long ride home , dad finally could sit on his favourite couch after home cooked dinner and shower; and within seconds he already dozed off.
It is going to be a long journey still to nurse dad back to health until he is fit enough to make the 3 hour drive home to check on his beloved home back in my hometown that had been left to gather dusts since 8 months ago.
But right now, proper food, rest and let me get all the outstanding bills settled first . Thank God the hospitalisation bill wasn’t too high because he’s a senior citizen and also a Malaysian.
That’s where the crypto I have been saving up could come at play, however how nice it can actually be used as part of the discount for other grocery expenses as well. Maybe one day this could happen when mass onboarding happens and everyone knows about our awesome blockchain.
