Anyone Watching Eurovision?

If you are not familiar with Eurovision it is a song contest of European countries (+ Australia 🤷‍♂). First contest was held in 1956 and it was done every year till now (except 2020). And you probably seen some of the songs, if nothing then you know about Epic Sax Guy (he was all over the place some years ago). That was a cut from a song from Moldova.

Quality of the songs varies from year to year, some countries take it more serious then others. I mostly like to check it out to see the craziness. Because most of the time, there is a lot of crazy and weird songs. The stage and visual performance is often really good and it is interesting to see.

I didn't have the time to watch it live or check everything out, but i did skip through all the first semi final songs. And it was kinda blah. Maybe i skipped some cool stuff by skipping parts of the songs but...

First in the weird but not that bad was Citi Zēni - Eat Your Salad from Latvia. Visually something was happening and they did not take it seriously. I mean the first few words of the songs are "Instead of meat, I eat veggies and pussy" and it continues with some go green lyrics. It did not go through to the finals.

Rosa Linn - Snap from Armenia sounds nice, it is interesting but it feels like a rip off of some famous song and i can't put a finger on who it is (and when i do it will be obvious, i hear the voice and the rhythm of the song i just can't put the face to it)

Mia Dimšić - Guilty Pleasure from Croatia has a nice voice but the song did nothing for me.

I did like Amanda Georgiadi Tenfjord - Die Together from Greece. I liked the voice and the song is ok. I seen people complain about her English, but i did not mind.

And the one that was most fun for me was Moldova with Zdob şi Zdub & Advahov Brothers - Trenulețul. I have no idea what the song is about, have no idea what is going on, but it is just a fun mix of folk and rock? It kinda plays on my Serbian side :) as the accordion sound sounds like Serbian folk sound. And i am not even a fun of Serbian folk. But i do like weird mixes of it.
