For those of you who don't know MobeyDick's history, @JasperDick and I were preeschool besties.
We've known eachother longer than anyone, aside from our parents and siblings.
Somehow, life happened and somewhere along the way, we lost contact, Even though we attended the same juniour and high school after preschool, it wasn't really until the Covid Lockdown that we rekindered our friendship and started making music!
As I am sure you can imagine, kids made a heck of a lot of fun of us and would say things like "When you grow up and you get married you two will be MobeyDick!" Well, we certainly didnt get marrried, but we did start a band, so pfffffffffffft right back at you, playground bullies!!!
@JasperDick has married the beautiful @ Julia Baker and I am (soon to be, technically) married to @ZakLudick, and no, the irony of Zak's surname is not lost on us either! We thought this song was the perfect ending to a fantastic set, and a real amalgamation of what we're all about: Great Music, Family, Performing with our hearts on our sleeves and having a jolly old time every time we do!

My favourite whaling song is Nantucket Sleighride's "Mountain", but I guess that's just showing my age.....
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣Aimes exuberant boyfriend managed to use this method to fit us all in the video 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣toooootally on purpose 😂 we need a good camera and a tripod to film our gigs. Leaning phones on tables and against points of beer is not ideal or professional, but hey.... We do what we must with what we have!
