Introducing Helen&Boys for Wednesday House

in Music3 years ago

Netherlands or Ukraine?

I was actually pretty sure Helena is one of the female talents from the Benelux region but suddenly learned I am wrong again - another lady from the Ukraine that plays awesome sound carpets of Electronic Music, call it Melodic Techno, House or whatever, it sounds good to my old ears.

Helen&Boys is just a fancy headline

But the real name of the act behind is Elena Volos from Kharkov, born as a true musical child which she proved by the fact that to passed the exams to the Music school at the age of 7 (SEVEN!) by graduating the class in violin and vocals.

In the electronic music space she is a self made musician, mixer and DJ but check her out and judge for yourself - great Tech House sounds.

I think that Helena you were thinking about is Helena Hauff and actually she is German ;)

But this one is actually also very interesting pick up. Im on 15min of Helen&Boys - PRODJ Space and it sounds really good

Thanks dude, an inspiration for another Helena post, isn't it :-)?

To be honest I was exciting to write something bigger about Shed whos newest album I just described in the last #technofriday, because there is a lot of years of releasing different stuff under many different aliases. Huge material to dig. But I can wait a bit with it and prepare something bigger and in the meantime, for your special request I can create something for upcoming #technofriday about Helena Hauff. Then maybe you can write something fresh about Jacek Sienkiewicz ? It was a bit quiet about him recently ;)

Good idea - i prepared already sth about Hauff - but you have the first

Would be today for #Danceweekend but not as good as yours @cubapl

if you prepared then feel free to post it as well, it is pointless to waste a good content
then it will be a Hauffriday

Oh, that is an interesting beginning with the violin paraphrasing on the tune of Csárdás composed by Vittorio Monty
👌

i love cross-over stuff between contrary styles.

And in this case turned out a good combination, so win-win 😊

Absolutely correct

Very cool music this i like not so thundering 👍
