Yesterday my boyfriend and I have decided to buy some food and on the way, I had an idea to take pictures of everything I found interesting or beautiful. It's not a big deal but I thought it would be fun! I have edited all the photos in the PicsArt app a bit... ☺️

The first picture I took is of bamboo that was growing on the road, I think the diversity of plants you can find here is fascinating. While I was taking photos a woman that was walking nearby stopped and started to talk to me and my boyfriend. She told us that not so long time ago, at night, she saw a tree full of fireflies and that it was an incredible scene but she didn't have a good camera to take a picture. She said that if she would have it, the photo would be awesome. After saying all that, she just followed her way.

We have arrived at the "La Casona" commercial center. The architecture of this place seems very interesting to me.

This is just a picture of a mountain of plantains. I liked the colors, I think they are very pleasant.

Venezuela has many peculiar combinations between architecture and nature. Sometimes it looks like if you would be in some post-apocalyptic panorama and the ancient civilization was absorbed by nature and sometimes the architectural plans and roads are really made to follow nature's path.

After seeing some flora, I found an opportunity to take pictures of some fauna. I am talking about the American black vulture ("zamuro" in Venezuela). They belong to the Cathartidae family (which comes from Greece word Cathartes, which means "those who clean"). It includes seven species distributed in warm and temperate areas of the Americas. Vultures are scavenging birds, feeding mostly from the carcasses of dead animals without apparent ill effects. The vultures from this gif are looking for the crumbs of the food from a bazaar that was there some minutes ago.

Finally, my boyfriend and I came home, but our neighbor @jesymarcano92 invited us to her house. Surprisingly we found some horrible creature in the basement of the house, I think it is still there. Nobody had the courage to touch it in any way. If anybody knows what kind of spider is it, can you tell that in the comments, please? 😰

This is San Antonio de Los Altos is a suburban town, capital of Los Salías Municipality, Miranda State, Venezuela with a population of 68.255. The town got its name from Saint Anthony of Padua, a Portuguese Catholic priest, the city's patron saint of the region, and the mountainous area. I have enjoyed this day so much and I've learned a lot of things while researching about the objects of my photos. I recommend you to try this "experiment" someday! You may find surprises even in the area where you live.
