The forest is rich in artifacts for MACRO shooting. Cones, leaves, mushrooms, lichens... anything at good magnification is of interest.
If you're just walking and looking through the trees, you probably won't notice the fine details under your feet. And there are a lot of them. Ants, butterflies, bugs and caterpillars, moat drops on the grass, bizarre mosses... you just have to stop and look around, maybe squat down.
A simple fir cone, upon closer inspection, surprises with its geometry, rhythm of lines and elements.
Young leaves are fluffy and tender.
And the perception of your subject depends on the background.
If desired, you can get an abstract photo with incomprehensible volumes and color transitions.
You decide what you put in the frame and how to present this image. This is quite an exciting activity. Next time I'll try to achieve macro minimalism...I don't even know how to achieve this yet. But the more interesting the task.
