27 minutes for a Photoshoot

How much can you do in 27 minutes?

27 minutes was the time frame from the first photo taken to the last photo taken. For a professional photographer and a professional model that could be a lot of time. I don't know i never had the opportunity. For me i usually like to have more time. I do like more time because of me, i need some time to get into the flow, especially when posing is involved. And especially when i am rusty in this kind of photography as i am now.

But i also feel that most people need some time (at least 10-15min) to get comfortable.

On the time crunch, it was a photoshoot before the 18 birthday party and we had to do 3 shoots in hour and twenty minutes.

So it was all one location. There is not a lot of options for background, but there is a bit of space to play around.

Would be probably even more, but it is an old building with a lot of dust, so there were some limitations of what can you do with someone dressed in white with a party after that in mind.

Time limitations also make you pay less attention. I did have to cut out my photo bag of few of the photos. And i did have few burned whites at times when sun decided to peak through.

Also prime lenses are cheaper and give you more quality glass for the money, but they do suck when you need to change them all the time.

Place had an covered section, with less light in it, so my idea was to try and get some non brick background. There was not enough room to get the background black. And i did not have the right equipment for that. Umbrellas are not ideal tool for focused light.

Some fill light would also be great, but in that timeframe fiddling with 1 flash was more then enough. Setting up 2 would be too much.

Overall i was happy with results. And i do need to do this more often.

Oh and my ankle was still f-up at the moment, i just did not know that. (ankle story is probably for another blog that will never be written)

So, that's it? You have a story but will not share it with us? 😂 Leaving your audience in waiting forever mode? Lol

Btw, seems that 27 minutes was pretty enough to take some great shots:)

i don't want to jinx it as i am not 100% sure it is over :) At the moment it feels like it. 3 months of everyone just saying just rest it is fine. Until i got to a football physio, something was dislocated for sure.

Thanks.

Just a stunning looks and beautiful young woman. her face is fantastic. You have some really great pictures. Awesome ❤️

Despite all the limitation you've mentioned, these photos are stunning.
