I just got Godox TL60 Tube Light. Why? I am not sure, i think i am a sucker for battery powered lights. I was looking for something totally different and youtube got me in a hole that ended up on tube lights.

You will learn nothing from this photos, i didn't really learn a lot, but it was just few shots in my room. Light is bright but nothing crazy. It is a full RBG, but i think i need to do some more research on settings for how to set up colors as it looks a bit weird in photo and video.

I probably learned that i should not do tests photographing my self as there is a bit of bias me looking on my portraits :)
Lights have a remote control and an mobile app. Both work well and give a lot of control of the lights.
Constant lights in close portraits have one characteristic that some people love. When you photograph with flash it is usually darker so pupils are larger and you see less iris. When you use constant light it is pretty bright so pupils are smaller and you get more color in the eyes.

I think they will be decent for video, with maybe a bit higher ISO.
Also while writing this i thought that it could be used for Peter Hurley stile portraits. Probably not perfect, but maybe it could work.
And ignore my happy face :D

Interesting light. The only downside is no battery or something. It would be cool using it outside without a Honda GX power generator :) I am thinking about this one https://store.godox.eu/gb/camera-flash/176-flashgun-godox-v1-round-head-for-sony-6952344217467.html . However, I am more sucer for natural lighting but the dark side is calling me like crazy. Ouu and for products shoots of course :9 Great self-portraits.
it all started with looking at softboxes then the looking at cheap constant lights like Godox ML60 and evil algorithm got me to the RGB tubes :)
makes 0 sense but it is an interesting light, now just to find a way to put it into use :D
Ouuu no, another victim of algorithmic shopping :) You will use it in the right way. I am not in doubt. And if you will feel a lack of softness you can still add some screen to it and soften it more. How goes that one "snadji se druźe"...
Wow i never realize this. This one is a great info. Thank you for sharing this. I did learn something new :D
a lot of photographers that do close up portraits like continuous lights because of that. or use strong strobes so they can have more ambient light and overpower it with the strobe.
i was looking for a quick example. you can probably see it here. size of the pupil on this one and my second photo.
I see them perfect
they just need a little smile
always cheers the soul
we also always learn something new
happy Saturday
Thanks
as i said ignore my happy face :D
The colours in the second one are very cool
It's like a retro vibe
