What a little cutie
About a month ago, our daughter's best friend had a baby and he is the most precious little boy in the world. We have been wanting to have her and her baby over for a while, but with my wife's surgery and people being sick, it has been hard to figure out a time that works best for everyone.
My daughter and I went and saw them the day that he was born. She had a home birth and we were able to go and see them within a few hours of him being born and he was the most perfect little guy.
My wife and I are getting pretty baby hungry at the moment and we thinking that within the next two or three years, we will have a grandbaby in our home. This little guy is basically a grandchild to us. We raised my daughter's friend for a while during some hard times in her home, so we have grown really close to her over the years. She is a special woman to us and her child is just the sweetest little guy ever.
It made my heart happy to see my wife so happy to see this little guy again. She is still on the road to recovery, but she is feeling better each day. Days like today are what she needs to keep healing properly.
Sorry, not been that active on my Hive feed the past few weeks, so missed your recent posts about your wife's surgery. Just caught up on everything. With the advance in medical and technology nowadays, I'm sure she will recover very soon. Sending strong vibes her way. By the way, based on traditional Chinese medicine theory, females should avoid drinking cold water, warm drink is best to keep your body nice and warm and balanced. A lot of my Chinese female friends swear by that 😊
You're a bit young to be thinking about being a grandfather! But I get what you mean. Babies are soooo cute. Luckily we have a few in our extended family and I love dropping by to see them whenever I have time.
Thanks. We have been having a lot of tea and stuff lately. It seems to be helping with some of the bloating and other pain.
My kids are all grown adults now, so grandkids are not too far off. We are so excited to have little grandchildren running around our home.
Home birth? Wow! Is it still allowed in your place? Me, my mother gave birth to me at home but these days home birth is discouraged.
Anyway, congrats to all of you for having a cute baby. Someday or soon you will be a grandparents to your own grandchildren.
Home birth is such a natural experience. It is discouraged because they would rather have you pay to have a child in a hospital so hospitals and pharmaceutical companies can make money from it. With home births, there are midwives that are present in case there are complications and if there are any, then they suggest going to a hospital.
You're right and that's one of a sad reality in our government. We need to give birth in lying in or hospital.
Oh, that boy looks incredibly cute. I think it's pretty brave to have had a son at home, he should be your grandchild for sure

Grand children are gift so precious to grandma and grandpa I remember my mom always ask me when she's going to see her grand daughter, it's a pleasant longing, the baby is so cute and loving, don't worry soon you will have another beautiful granddaughter

How beautiful indeed, not only the baby that really is very adorable, but also everything you say about the recovery of your wife, that is the family time they deserve and also that the arrival of a baby is the most beautiful and joyful thing that can become a family, I know you say that is the friend of her daughter, but the attachment they have can make everything feel as if it were one big happy family.

What a cute little guy! I know you know just as much as me, but no matter what kind of mood your in, seeing a baby's face smile on you take all the negativity away.
PS I almost thought you were going to say you, and your wife where going to have another baby in the next few years!
