Beauty competition

IMG_6869.jpg

One more really busy day at the farm today and a ton of hard work planed for the weekend. Don't you just love spring?

I am just kidding, of course I love spring but for the farmers it is a very tiring season. But I don't want to tell you about my work. Now I am home relaxing and I want to share some of the beauty that I see every day and I managed to capture a few days ago :)

This breathtaking blooming is from an almond-leaved pear (Pyrus amygdaliformis or Pyrus spinosa if you enjoy the Latin names). Its fruit is hardly edible but look at those flowers, totally mesmerising, and the bees adore it too :)

But the sage is blooming too and competing in beauty and aroma! Actually I just realised that there is a beauty competition taking place right at my doorstep and it is the best I could ever imagine :)

Last but not least a few wildflowers in an absolutely fabulous variety of colours and shapes decorating our fields!

That's all folks, have a lovely weekend, I most probably won't be around but I am sure there are going to be many more amazing posts from you guys!

And now it's time for my beauty sleep :)

Love this post! Those pear blossoms are amazing. The sage too, the macro details are wonderful. Thank you for sharing spring with us.

Nothing wrong with a break and better late than never is what i always say. I hope you enjoyed some time off. Cheers bro

Outstanding shots.
I always like your post. You always take amazing pictures

Thank you very much @xheikhibrahim and sorry I didn't get back to you earlier!

That pear's flowers are stunning! My common sage here has blue flowers. What variety is your pink colored one? And that last blue flower, I adore that blue!

Thanks a lot @goldenoakfarm :)
Nature's colours never seize to amaze me too! That sage is just the kind that grows by itself on the mountain.
(And sorry about the very late response)
