Long time no see! Hope everyone is fine! 😊
While in the past 2-3 months I kept seeing all kinds of posts with places out there that were already covered in snow, Romania didn't enjoy winter until yesterday, due to very warm temperatures. So even though I live in a place very close to the mountains, the 18°C didn't contribute too much to make Christmas and New Year Eve be celebrated in snow.
Happily, this thing changed yesterday when the weather decreased drastically and showed that we will have snow for the next 10 days. At first, I didn't put too much trust in the weather forecast because not for a few times I've got to see rain or snow being announced on TV but never happening in real life.
But as soon as I woke up in the morning, I was blessed with the black and white landscape - the single exception being a few cars and the colorful buildings.
If you are asking me, I'm not sure if it's a good thing or not to have snow at the end of the 2nd month of winter, but I really hope that it won't last too long due to the gas prices which are ridiculously expensive even without being snow outside.
Anyway, while I had some work to do around the center of the city, I took this as an opportunity to take some pictures and share them with you, in case there is still someone who hasn't seen the snow yet.

The snow is beautiful to be honest, however, I hope it'll not last like you've wanted, those are beautiful pictures too, what mobile device did you use to take the pictures?
I don't mind to last for a couple of weeks but I really don't want to spend the Easter Holidays with snow outside as it happened 2-3 years ago, lol.
The phone I used for the pictures is Huawei Nova 5T. It's also mentioned at the end of the post ☺️
Don't you love how snow just makes anything more magical? We've had some this week, tho it's gone. In my coastal area we get snow then rain then sun and it repeats which means I don't get bored with the season. Really lovely photos @gabrielatravels

First and foremost this is a very beautiful view well not as beautiful as you are 😊 to be honest we can't really predict what happens next in our day to day leaving so it is normal you woke up to meet a snow and wow you can really take great pictures are you a photographer?.

Waking up to this view is all worth the high price of oil. Heheh. Nothing really goes wrong with black and white. Snow is stunning.

No. We only have wet and dry seasons here. 😅
That's sad. I can't imagine living in a place without snow but unfortunately I think that's what the whole planet will experience one day due to the global warming 😢

As I was reading you, in my mind the same question you left at the end was asked: "Are you a winter or summer person?".
Especially for your joy to wake up and find the snow, for me it would be the beginning of something bad hahaha where I live it is very rare that snow falls, and when it happens despite the beautiful and impressive always begin to fail some services, because the city is not conditioned for it.
Also my first thought is how cold it will be for me to walk around, because I usually go out walking a lot. hahaha I definitely think I'm a person of less freezing temperatures.
As for the gas I share your concern, here in Spain the cost is also exaggerated, we have had a hard time during this winter because the regular citizen can not afford to pay the prices, so we are also going through some cold times.
It's hard to say whether I'm a winter or summer person because both seasons have pros and cons and perhaps I'm somewhere in the middle. But the joy seeing the first snow of the year is definitely something that is hard to be replaced :)
