My blood results came back after almost 3 months after my last check-up. I was having issues with my liver, but apparently, there was a lot of other stuff going on that required immediate attention. So, these last couple of months I've changed quite a bit of my lifestyle. Except for moving around. I wanted to check out how much food and nutrients could affect the body (and mind).
Well, despite the fact that I get tired easily after walking, or moving around like a friggin' slowpoke, I'm feeling much better mentally and I can feel the urge of 'change' going through my brain. Before this, there wasn't much of it or any at all. So, here it's safe to say that changing my food schedule had a huge impact on how I was feeling. Now I just need to continue this pace moving forward, and literally start moving forward with my feet.
Today, the Sun's out, so there is no excuse to not take @lackofcolor outside to catch some Sunlight and vitamin D. We've been walking near a park a few weeks ago as well where I have taken some photographs as well with a wide-angle. In this post, I'll show a few macro shots that I took with my Sony A7RII, 50mm f/1.4, and reverse ring. Quite fun!

Post-Processing
The processing part of flowers can be tricky. Absolutely. While they are already quite photogenic from themselves, finding the right balance between the colors and vibes can be an adventure on its own.
For example, all of these 7 photographs were taken on the same day, within a timeframe of 1-2 hours. Which basically means you should be expecting similar-styled photographs, right? The dandelion for example is a good example that shows the different styles of post-processing.
Finding and creating suitable styles is a good training practice to step up your post-processing game with Camera RAW files. The buttercup (it's a buttercup, right? I'm a dude, so forgive me for not knowing more than Roses and Tulips. The Buttercup looks like it's near Sunset/Blue Hour, or maybe photographed in a studio if I removed the background in post-edit.
Besides creating different styles over and over again, once you make a habit out of it, you'll end up making unique styles for any photographs that are perfect to your liking.

What is your favorite photograph?
It was fun, and personally, it was good to get out again and move my feet. Flowers aren't usually my cup of tea, but they were a great excuse for me to take a small break in between. I must admit that I don't recognize buttercup on your photos and I am a buttercup expert as it's the worst weed in my garden 😂
I hope all is better with your health now. Food has a great impact on physical as well as mental state (at least for me), so I'm glad to hear that you feel the changes 🙂

Oh damn, sorry to hear that. Same here same here... just received some good news, but quite some devastating news as well. Hope things are moving forward for you.
first of all i hope al is getting well with your health , did you enjoy the reverse ring , i know from experience that it can take some time to adjust . the gardener in me is bussy trying to identify the flowers picture nr 1 looks like a lupine to me and picture nr 2 a scabiosa flower picture nr 3 i think Crataegus / meidoorn but my favourite is picture nr 7 also a crataegus / meidoorn i thing but the creamy glow makes it nice and soft.

The reverse ring is pretty nice to be honest, the only downside is the noise I'm getting because my 50mm auto-closes when it is inactive for X time.
the leafs on 6 don't match the buttercup it does look like a Kerria japonica / ranonkelstruik
i never had that issue because i used old manual focus lenses to revers ;)

as of the most interesting pic for me, it would definitely be the lupine (the first one) since im trying to color one and it's more difficult than i thought :D do you have more lupine pics by any chance?
Haha woops... I realize now that I haven't talked about the results! LMAO. They were great actually. I don't have more Lupine pics, the wind was quite challenging to make some pictures.
