Photo Adventures: Capturing the Architecture of my Local Train Station

Hello, Hiveians!

As we here in Boston are finally getting some decent weather up here, I've been more inclined to get outside after this long and depressing Covid Winter. On one of the first decent days out, I decided to take a walk to photograph some of the architecture of one of our Bus/Train stations.

I set out with my A7ii and my OMD EM10 Mkii and a few lenses to play around with, including my new 28mm F2 Vivitar vintage lens that I just got on Facebook Marketplace for only 20$! More on that in another post perhaps!

Once I got there, I followed the main driveway in and saw a cool shot with the light and shadows of the building!

And then another from a different angle capturing the floors above and the glass roof.

After that I wandered around a bit more to the stair ways and tunnels of the station.

After that I decided to head on back and captured one last shot on my way out of the inside of the station.

Nothing extremely great, but I was satisfied with what I was able to capture on an afternoon adventure. The OMD EM10 has really been growing on me and performs really well, especially for its size and price. It's such a compact system, especially when rocking the 14-42 kit lens, that it's hard to argue against taking it with you. And the IBIS stabilization is phenomenal.

Well that's it for this short little post to share a small adventure with you all. I hope you enjoyed and got something out of it. Let me know, what did you think of these photos? Which was your favorite? Do you enjoy shooting architecture?

Till next time, feel free to see more of my work on my site at www.SeanGold.com or on Instagram @SeanGoldPhotos!
