📷 Pond on the Field

in Photography Lovers3 years ago

An additional bonus from a small trip to the Smolensk church at dawn from the last post was a photo of this small pond on the field. There were no textured clouds in the sky, and there was no colorful dawn. It was almost daylight, and after taking a few shots of the church, I decided to send the drone farther in the opposite direction from the village and the church, through the fields closer to the forest. And not far away in the field I found such a pretty pond. Around it, part of the vegetation is mowed, part of the field is in the thickets of something, from a height it is not clear what is growing there, but clearly not just a wild lawn. A drone flies over the pond, sets in from different directions, I wait until the sun rises and illuminates the field properly, and then, unexpectedly for me, HE comes from the fields!

HE is a very angry and upset man in his 50s, a fisherman. It turns out that he came here in the dark, even before us and sat down to fish quietly. Relax, rest his soul, meditate on the float — however, not without fishing excitement. And then we arrived and began to fly and buzz with a drone! And okay, at first it was farther, near the church, but then the drone began to do circles right above the pond, greatly destroying the harmony of the surrounding nature and the silence of the morning, scaring away the fish. The soul of the fisherman could not stand such abuse, he came to swear with me :)

However, flying here is not forbidden, I showed him some pictures from the drone on the screen, told him a little about the photo, about me and my hobby ... In general, I calmed him down a bit and he did not fight with me:) Well, I did not try his patience for too long and soon returned the drone back.

And the photo of the pond is still pretty, I like it — the color of water and fields and lines on the fields are very nice. It seems that you can even see that fisherman there, if you look at the photo in large size :)

It's better to watch the photo in high resolution.

If you turn it 90 degrees, I can see it as a heart :D

Yes, that's right, if you look at the general contour of traces of agricultural machinery and greenery around the pond :) I thought about it, but since the pond itself looks more like a pod of beans along the contour, I did not turn it. But this is how you spotted the hidden zest :)

Hehe, right in time for valentine's Day! Haha

That's for sure! I also have a couple of lakes and ponds in the shape of a heart, so take a look at my today post and another one - there the shape of the heart is more obvious :) Happy Valentine's Day!

Oh wow, you are right! They are so beautiful! Happy Valentine's Day 🙃

Thank you! :)

very nice areal view.

Thank you, glad you like it! :)

I keep coming back to this picture. It is awesome. I think I want to figure out a way to purchase it and hang it in my home. I love the land and water and abstractness of it too.

Wow, this is quite unexpected and very pleasant for me! Thank you so much :)
I’ll think a little, since I don’t often sell photographs and definitely didn’t do it in America, but if you really like this photo, then we will find an option on how to do it, I’m sure :)
You can write me your mail here or write to me at [email protected] and I will write to you a little later what I can offer. Or perhaps you have some suggestions on how it would be more convenient to do this?

Great thanks. There is a new chat feature in PeakD so I just sent a request there.

Now I see :) Didn't know about this feature, thanks!

Something about this picture just appeals to me...I know not what. Nice work.

The trinity worked on this picture: nature, people who picturesquely cultivated the fields around the pond, and I with the help of a drone :) I really like the result of this joint work, and I am very glad that not only I like it. Many thanks, and for the repost too!

I'm going to get a drone someday...Maybe Santa will bring me one this Christmas. 😉

A drone is a really cool thing! This one is already my third - one fell somewhere in the mountains, and the second I sold before buying the current one, and now I take aerial shots almost more often than shots from a camera :)

Hope Santa can do it for you ;)

I think Santa might be good to go on it this year, although if there's any consultation with my wife it could be in jeopardy...Let's hope Santa just goes ahead and it's all good. 😁

Let's hope 😁
