Clouds and flyover country

in Photography Lovers11 months ago (edited)

Living in a place with open skies really gives me a lot of opportunities to observe planes flying over. Being out in the middle of no where, this is flyover country. Not sure where they are going, probably to another state far away. Or maybe to another country, I am sure they cannot see me.. probably cannot even see my house. But I can see their plane way up there along with the streaks left behind.

It was getting cold, that time of year the pond started to freeze over. I think it made the jet streaks last longer due to the extreme cold up in the atmosphere.

The clouds as well remind me of cold days, with their pattern high up makes me think of turbulent wind.

Some of the jet planes streak across the entire horizon.

A few all look so close together yet they are many miles apart on their own flight path.

Sometimes I can see them through the clouds, when thin enough.

I wonder what made that one change direction, or it appears to me that it did. A bird was caught in the image as well flying away from the juniper tree it was resting on.

They look like lances going up in to the sky, probably flying directly overhead at the time.

The wispy clouds are nice to see, their pattern appearing like ripples in the sky.

Some are more thick but still has that ripple pattern.

Over time the sky clears up, or sometimes gets so dense we no longer see these patterns.

Being the middle of winter at the time of these photos, the tree behind has no leaves and is just bare. Those ripples remind me of cold days, so it matches up to the dormant tree we see in the background.

Sort:

That is just a che trail conspiracy shot drug us all to believe the world is not flat and the Illuminati is controlling the atmosphere…man. ;)

Nothing like a great big sky to bring things into perspective down on earth. Relaxing views.

Haha, dont even get me started on that.. :-P

It sure is nice, the country sky is so blue and clear.. and the nights are quite amazing when its clear outside.

It always happens friend @solominer not only to see the planes fly, but also to aspire to go on them, I tell you my youngest son lives with his wife and daughter in Argentina and when a flight leaves Cumaná, where I live in Venezuela, I wonder when I will go in it to go see my family. Likewise, looking at the sky I think of many people who feel the same way, since many have left Venezuela due to economic problems, there is no other choice, always look at the sky and not only observe the stars, but also to meditate on very novel events. pretty. Thank you for sharing such an expressive publication that makes us inspire in beautiful things. Thank you also for your continuous visits to my publications. successes

I am thankful to get to enjoy the stars, its pretty amazing.. And the moon seems even brighter here than where I lived before. I really love the night sky.

You are welcome..

The view is very pleasant dear @solominer and if it is from our home, even better. May everything always be very excellent for you, personally, family and hive.

It just feels so good to see the sky, observe planes and different shades of clouds especially that part of sky we get to see in night - moon, stars and all that's my favorite one.

Have witnessed jet planes flying over...

probably flying directly overhead at the time.

Yeah, it does look like.

I'm already missing the cold days badly... It's summer out here.. the essence of winter is quite Amazing!

It is quite nice, where I lived previously I had too many trees blocking my view of the sky. So having this view is quite the treat now.

Ah yeah, same here.. it is getting quite warm and muggy here. When I took these pictures months back it was quite chilly and nice.

Nice photos of those planes. At elevation a turn like that is usually a course adjustment towards their final destination. Beautiful pictures, I bet it is really green right now in VA.

Ah gotcha, it was interesting to see one of the contrails had curved to it.

Thanks, it sure is.. very green :-)

Yes, the open spaces are wonderful, you breathe the absolute peace of life, and the first time I see a picture of all those planes together, the truth is that I was very impressed.

Yeah it sure was cool seeing them all together.

Did you know that there are many people who don't even look at the sky? They don't pay attention to it, they don't even notice its changes...

That's why I liked your post so much, that you notice this is very nice of you, it talks about how you notice the little things in life and that is a very good characteristic in a person.

So true, I have noticed that as well. Many people just focus on what is directly in front of them and nothing much else.

Thanks man, glad you liked it.
