Fragile and Fleeting

Hello Hive!

It's been a week since my last post and I realized I should pull my shit together. I still don't know what to do though so here's a filler post. It's not that I don't have anything to post, it's just that I'm in a mental mess right now. I have tons of topics lined up, but I can't come up with a coherent structure.

To have the ball rolling or keep my creative juices flowing, I decided to share these photos of flowers that my mother has been taking care of since the start of the pandemic. I actually wrote about her being a "plantita" about a month ago so this post should be the continuation of that post, but I decided to be a little bit dramatic instead. If you're interested, you can check out that post below:

Flowers are so delicate and would last just a couple of days, hence the title of this post (told you I got a little bit dramatic). However, plants spend so much energy in producing such beauty. They never cease to amaze me.

Look at that jasmine! Those tiny white flowers are so fragrant and that scent has this calming effect. You can just easily pluck the flowers from the plant, but it's better if they're left alone.

They somehow reminded me to be productive. I was not really in the mood the past week and I just kept on procrastinating. I just watched a lot of anime which I could be reviewed, but I didn't. I spent most of my day sleeping and watching anime, which is not really healthy.

I'm just finding a lot of excuses to set aside the important matters to be done. This is almost getting out of hand and I don't want to be so unproductive. Anyway, here are more shots I've taken:

By the way, don't ask me the names of those flowers because I only know rose and jasmine. The rest, I have no idea what their names are.

I should probably go back to the drawing board and figure out what I should do in the next days. I would probably go back to my photography class which I left for more than a month already. Anyway, I hope you'll enjoy these photos of my mother's flowers.

I think that's all for this post. Thank you for reaching this far even if I don't know what I'm talking about. See you in my next post! Hopefully, I'll be in a much better state by that time.

Hi, excellent photos, beautiful plants very well cared for. I hope you find the courage and concentration to continue posting, nothing like consistency to achieve goals. Greetings!

Thank you! I'll try to be consistent in my posting, but I also don't want to force myself to post. Maybe I'll find a balance.

Awesome shots bro! The pro that knows! Keep up the great work!

Thank you, Castle! Who's the pro? Me? Nah, I'm just pretending. I'm still amateur. Maybe I'll forever be amateur. Haha

The shots were pretty pro! Cheer up man. It's been a tough year and as humans we have our ups and downs. If you are or have been down.... just don't stay there! You are loved and appreciated. So, don't be so hard on yourself and keep on keepin' on!!!

Keep on keepin' on!

😂 I couldn't counter this. Hahaha. Thank you tho. It's good to know there are people who cheer you on.

I also take many photographs of flowers in my mother's garden and yours have inspired me, I loved your photographs❤️

Thank you! You should share them here too.

I will 😊

Beautiful work bb!

This picture here is my favorite. I love the colour it has and the blur.

Thank you, bb! 🥰🥰🥰

I'm still practicing that bokeh effect. Sometimes I get it right, oftentimes I fail.

I love the bokeh in the photos, that blur effect gives a spectacular touch to the photos and I think you do it very well dude. There will always be mistakes when trying to take photos but the important thing is the result, in this case the result is excellent.

Thank you! Imma keep posting photos like those. I have a new batch from the resort we've been to lately and I think you'll also love them.

Simply beautiful collection shot of flowers.

Thank you so much for the support!

Wow, all photos looks amazing

Thank you! 🙌

Excellent photography skills! There is something in the December air, hang in there, been feeling pretty low as well. I feel guilty having consumed so much Kdrama. It is okay not to be okay. -see even that is a kdrama title lol

Thank you! I haven't watched kdrama lately. I'm still in Episode 3 of Start Up. I can't finish a single episode in one setting. I need to catch up.

When are you planning to have the diving class? I think I now have enough savings to push through. 🙈

It was nice to escape and live briefly in the world of Dal-Mi, Do-San and Ji-Pyeong for 15 episodes. Tentative plan end of December. Just sent you a twitter dm for the details.

Yay! I'm excited! But I need to finish Start Up first. It's long overdue.

Oops 16 episodes haha, Start up ending was better than Dodosolsollalasol.

Hahaha! I don't understand why people hates Do San so much when it was halmeoni and Ji Pyeong who used Do San's name in the first place. Well, I'll just finish the whole series before I'll have my final verdict. 😂

I actually like all of the characters and how the story played out, even the guys at Samsan Tech and In-Jae. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts after finishing it.

Wow it looks pretty good captures. 😍

Thank you! So nice of you. Thanks for stopping by!

So you are into macro photography now? Ayayyaayayay haha

Not quite there yet. I'll buy an extension lens and a real macro lens and then we'll talk about about macro photography. It's just a normal shot dude. I'm still figuring out how to make that bokeh effect consistent.

Las flores son unas modelos muy nobles, y tú sabes como hacerlas lucir esbeltas y elegantes. Eres valiente por publicar aún con todo un lío en la cabeza, eso habla de una persona aguerrida. ¡Me encantaron las tomas!

Thank you so much! I'm glad you liked my photos.

Like the flowers, I think emotions come and go. We just have to learn to embrace them.
