We have been making great progress on the upstairs of our house. After framing out the air return and vent, I can now start work on the wood stove area.
Before I finished drywall in the living room I needed to install the thimble for the wood stove. The thimble is an insulator that allows the double walled stainless stove pipe to go through the wall.
Anytime you work with something like fire, it is important to do you research! If you are clever enough to want to install your own stove, then you are clever enough to learn how to do it correctly and safe.
