I took up Computer Science ..but do you know that that's when I learned rubik,? Our Math instructor required us to solve this then we held a small competition in our class.. The fastest ones will be exempted in exam... And I was one of them..lol. This is the mind puzzle game, alongside tower of hanoi that I can still remember to do up until now..
.. I recently taught this lady at home to solve rubik too because she's kind've frustrated when seeing me easily solving it, lol.. Now she's good at it..😊

Ay wow, I check ko tong link for the tutorial. Haha! I remember tuloy nung college, may pa exemption din sa geometry class when I got 4.7 grades. pinakamataas na yong 5.0. mangilan2 din kami exempted.

Ha ha 😊. I'm not an expert, but my son is! At the age of nine, he taught himself from YouTube. The trick is just in the sequences of rotation of the faces (the algorithm). Once you've mastered the individual rotations, you just read the algorithm or learn it from memory. I managed to build a cube this way, but I didn't learn the algorithm from memory. Today my son assembled a cube in less than 30 seconds 😮Here's a great guide. Write down the algorithm on paper! Good luck and lots of patience 🤣

I think rubik is all about remembering the rotation. I watched many tutorial online but eventually like many things I took interest on, I gave up.
You must be curious on how to solve that one 🤣

I was able to solve this when I was in high school where I learned how to do it from my friends. If I remember correctly, there are different techniques and methods to do depending on the state of the rubix cube. Good ole days!
hahaha that's nice. i've been crying with the low grades in Math and memorizing the periodic table in Chemistry. no chill in high school. hahaha
Haha I never solved either other than taking a part and putting back together. I think my best was solving two sides. Yes there a few different ways to solve. Speaking of which I have a co-worker who can complete in less than a minute. I think if you know the pattern or know what has to be where it can be solved by anyone. I just never took to YouTube to figure out what it was, lol.
So impressive when somebody can solve it in a minute.

I have never solved one either, but know that it’s doable if you understand the patterns in which you can do it. I wouldn’t stress about it too much though because there are things that we are good at and things which we aren’t. You have other skills besides math and the rubik cube so try to focus on those instead! Let your son try to figure it out as a way to train his little brain! They are wonderful geniuses!
