Happiness - gold class

20221017_130410.jpg

Diwali or Deepawali, is one our most significant Hindu holiday celebrated each year in the holiest month of Kartik. It's also known as Dhanteras, being considered auspicious for making new purchases, of precious metals like gold or silver or new utensils. Again each tribe have their own beliefs, but we usually buy a new utensil and a broom, but this time the lady wished for some precious metal, because of some extra leave encashment bonus that I got recently. And who can deny the chief architect of the home - the source of all our happiness. Day before yesterday, I took her to a brand new jewellery showroom opened on this occasion as there were some nice offers. But then she did not find what she was searching for. They asked us to place a custom order that would take months. But then the good thing is that, she never becomes unhappy over this - we decided to search at other places, before placing a custom order.

And if you have read my posts earlier, then you know, Diwali is the most sought after festival for kids - time to enjoy fire crackers. My daughter was not letting me sit in peace, till I bring fire crackers. So yesterday, I along with my friends went to a wholesale shop to get them.

Now that she was happy, it was turn of my son - he wanted a shoe to play table tennis - wish granted.

The boy is getting responsible and does not like to spend money on fire crackers. To try the lady's luck, we went to another place to find out her choice of ear ring - she wanted an ear ring with ruby stones - but then she was looking for some specific shape.

She wants something like this but in a triangular shape and a little bit smaller. All the gold shops were having lot of crowds and it was hard to even getting enough attention from the sales people, so we happily decided to postpone buying her ear ring, and instead invest our time in the gold class happiness at McDonalds.

We did not have a McDonalds shop at my place, and the kids are crazy about it. So much so that, when I came back from Pune, they asked me to bring it from there. And this shop was opened just few days back and was just adjacent to the gold showroom. So we ordered and waited to get some seats, as it was heavily crowded as well. But then we enjoyed the food there.

Coming back, the lady went to another shop to try her luck, but she happily came back saying, she will buy later. My daughter took the opportunity to buy some dress from Westside.

It was a lovely time spend with family - the true happiness valuable more than gold. Tomorrow is the day for firecrackers - and also to buy and lighting diyas as part of our main tradition.

Wish you a prosperous and happy Diwali with smiles on your face and joy in your heart.

Always loved Diwali, it brings so much joy and happiness.
Happy Dhanteras and Diwali, my friend. 🙏🏻

Happy Diwali dear..

It looks like they had a great time, if the kids love firecrackers. And Diwali is a very beautiful celebration with the lighting of the lights.

I live in Spain and here it is celebrated by very few people and with what happened with the coronavirus it made people not to gather as before.

I hope you can share with us some photos of tomorrow.

Ring was too much important I think 🤔 anyway better luck next time.
The MacDonald program and dress purchasing save your much money.

Going to get things from stores are sometimes fun and stressful especially when you don't get what you need on-time.. I hope you guys had fun

Wishing you a very Happy Deepawali @sanjeevm
Enjoy the time together with family. Like the design of ear ring.. Its lovely.

My daughter was not letting me sit in peace, lol I was imagining how they might be disturbing their father

No McDonald's, for God's sake! It is by far the worst food! Personally, I find it like eating plastic! Of course, when you're a parent, you shouldn't spoil memories! In any case, happy Deepawali

Well, we mostly don't like them as well, instead we prefer Indian food that are like home made.

Festivals and fun times are always better with family. This i can actually attest to. It's good to see you got everyone what they desires, girls will always be girls, I see your daughter went for some clothes hahaha.

She gets what she wants :)

It really looks like an awesome festival to celebrate and thanks for sharing.

whoa! thats some BLING there! 💎📿✨✨✨ :P

Jewelry, Fireworks, Shoes.. OH MY! :)

and the golden arches (and the golden fries?) for the win..

NICE!

I am pretty sure everyone had fun and an amazing time out.

Yes, a nice family time.

Spending time with the family is the best thing in life and if we add to what we can buy gold and silver objects. makes it even better

One question, friend, how many vacation periods do they have per year in India? It is also interesting to know all the great things about a celebration to acquire new clothes.

Well, we have so many festivals, so people take off, even if its not a holiday. And normally, its around 24 leaves a year.

I see that they have many festivals and they are all great. They have so much diversity and what I like the most is that the family spends a lot of time together

Thank you for showing and sharing these beautiful photos. I honestly learn a lot from your posts. Getting together at holidays and buying Jewellery, eating is a family tradition !

Happy diwali to you and your family
