Since the end of the year 2021 I wanted to have a dog was one of my resolutions for 2022, I wanted a small one, with little hair, but it did not arrive; the mother who had one in her womb, had a bad delivery, then they brought us another one, which I think will not be small, but still comes to a home that respects animals and has for him all the willingness and dedication to care for him and give him love.

He has been with me for a week and I named him Hachi, something similar to the one in the movie Hachiko, but we call him Jachi, or Achi and he is very intelligent and makes me laugh. His name attracts attention and there are already those who make jokes with him imitating a sneeze.

He came with fleas, so we have been doing all the paperwork to solve that and also start his vaccinations and here it has happened to me the same as when I had the newborns. There are so many opinions, everyone has the absolute solution. That we should wait three months to bathe him, that it is better to deworm him first, that once the navel is healed we can give him a bath and other recommendations.

As we do not have an exact date of birth, apparently he is seven weeks old, we decided to wait two more weeks to start with his vaccination protocol. We already have the advice of a veterinarian who is guiding us about the steps to follow.

Hachi was made a bed in a big box with his pillow, he already knows where it is and he sleeps there by himself, he sleeps all night long, but during the day he takes several naps wherever he wants.

Having a dog implies being attentive to everything, as if it were another person, you have to accompany him, play with him and be aware of his meals and the elimination of his waste, but you also have the perennial joy because the pet plays and runs around and does things that translate into laughter.

Yesterday we had an engagement and left him alone from ten o'clock in the morning, of course with his food and water. I bought him some puppy kibble and he likes it very much. We arrived at six o'clock, he greeted us with joy, but then when I tried to hold him he was very aggressive, and so with everyone, he showed his teeth in annoyance. Then he calmed down.

As I hadn't seen him like that I looked on the internet to see what reasons could have made him aggressive and I got that they get stressed if they feel insecure or scared, especially if they spend a lot of time alone. That must have been it. So far he had never been left alone.

The other discovery is how difficult it is to take pictures of a dog; he won't sit still for a moment. I have taken several, I selected some to make this presentation of Hachi, I have no idea of his breed, I just want to give him a good life and know his love.

Tiene una semana conmigo y le puse de nombre Hachi, algo parecido al de la película Hachiko, pero a este lo llamamos Jachi, o Achi y él ya atiende por su nombre, es muy inteligente y me hace reír. Su nombre llama la atención y ya hay quienes hacen bromas con este imitando un estornudo.

Vino con pulgas, así que hemos estado haciendo todos los trámites para solucionar eso y también empezar sus vacunas y aquí me ha pasado igual que cuando tenía a los niños recién nacidos. Hay tantas opiniones, cada quien tiene la solución absoluta. Que debemos esperar los tres meses para bañarlo, que mejor es desparasitar primero, que al tener curado el ombligo ya se le puede dar el baño y otras recomendaciones .

Como no tenemos una fecha exacta de nacimiento, al parecer tiene siete semanas, decidimos esperar dos más para comenzar con todo su protocolo de vacunas. Ya tenemos la asesoría de una veterinaria que nos va orientando acerca de los pasos a seguir.

A Hachi se le hizo una cama en una caja grande con su almohada, ya él sabe dónde está y se mete solo a dormir ahí, duerme toda la noche, pero en el día echa varias siestas donde le provoque.

Tener un perro implica estar atentos a todo, como si se tratara de una persona más, hay que acompañarlo, jugar con él y estar pendiente de sus comidas y la eliminación de sus desechos, pero se tiene también la alegría perenne porque la mascota juega y corretea y hace cosas que se traducen en risas.

Ayer teníamos un compromiso y lo dejamos solo desde las diez de la mañana, por supuesto que con su comida y agua. Le compré perrarina para cachorros y le gusta mucho. Llegamos a las seis, él nos recibió con alegría, pero luego cuando intenté cargarlo estaba bravo y muy agresivo, y así con todos, mostraba los dientes molesto. Luego se fue calmando.

Como no lo había visto así busqué en internet que razones podrían haberlo puesto agresivo y conseguí que ellos se estresan si se sienten inseguros o les da miedo, sobre todo si pasan mucho tiempo solos. Eso debe haber sido. Hasta ahora no había quedado nunca solo.

El otro descubrimiento es lo difícil que resulta tomar fotografías a un perro; no se queda quieto un momento. He tomado varias, seleccioné algunas para hacer esta presentación de Hachi, no tengo idea de su raza yo solo quiero darle una buena vida y conocer su amor.
