Her original name was Cotufa, I guess she got it because she was so pompous and fluffy that she looked like that, however, the first thing we noticed at home was that, even though she was a few months old, she did not pay attention to that name, so we decided to change her name, and since we were in love with Luky's series, I called her a couple of times Silvie and to our surprise she paid attention to us, So, since then that has been her name, the first weeks with us were somewhat frustrating, because she escaped a couple of times, because she was used to be free in her old house, where the vehicular traffic is almost null, contrary to what we live in my area, so we came to think the worst, since she did not appear the second time when she was missing for more than a week.
We had to lock her up a couple of times, but thank God, that is now in the past, and although, she still continues to take some evening walks around the neighborhood, she comes home for dinner; this little speck of hair with a face that everything smells bad, spends the day sleeping in the garden, or wherever sleep attacks her, we have come to believe that she is outside the house and is sheltered under a tree, even when it is raining, her thing is to sleep, ah and hunt crickets and butterflies. When Mini Me (Esperancita's son) had the time to eat it was a real fight between these two, because Silvie is territorial, so every time this little one approached her, a fight was coming, that does not happen at home anymore and, on the contrary, it is more common to see Mini Me, cuddled with Silvie than with his own mother.
Her eyes of a beautiful blue color like the sky, it is rarely possible to see them, much less photograph them as she would like, because her thing is to be with a frown and a face of few friends, besides she goes through life as a bitter old lady with few friends, in solitary she lives better, however, she does not stop being attached to Mathias when she has the opportunity, although Mathias when he has the opportunity gives her one or the other pulls her tail.
Last Thursday, after taking Mathias to his homework, his teacher called me to tell me to pick him up because he was running a fever, I immediately went to pick him up and since I was also taking care of my mother for her recent burn, I left him on the couch to monitor his fever while I was taking care of my mother's treatment, To the astonishment of all of us at home, from the moment Mathias lay down on the couch, she almost immediately lay down next to him, and from there she did not get up until Mathias' fever broke and he started to get into mischief again, showing (or at least I think so) that she was worried about him, just as he worries about her when she has some discomfort or disappears for a while. Many believe that cats are bad tempered (most of them are) and that because of this they have no sensitivity or feelings for their humans, but, as I could see with Sombra and Nena, I corroborate it with Silvie, they are more than an animal, or even more than a pet, they establish such a strong bond with each one of us that they can perceive from our mood to our health.

Hace más de un año que perdimos a Sombra, y poco tiempo después llego a casa Silvie, desde que la había visto meses atrás me enamore de ella por completo, pues literal era una pequeña bola de pelos, un peluchito con patas y con muy malas pulgas, pero era hermosa, sin embargo, mi querida @irenebarreto no quería deshacerse de ella y regalármela, hasta que por cosas de la vida por fin me la dio y desde que llego a casa Mathias se enamoró de ella, a decir verdad muchas veces tenía que regañarlo y quitársela de las manos, pues entre su cariño hacia ella, yo sentía que la apretaba mucho y era posible que le hiciera daño.

Tuvimos que encerrarla un par de veces, pero ya gracias a Dios, eso ha quedado en el pasado, y aunque, todavía continúa dando algunos paseos vespertinos por el barrio, regresa a casa para la cena; esta pequeña mota de pelos con cara de que todo le huele mal, pasa el día durmiendo en el jardín, o donde le ataque el sueño, hemos llegado a creer que está fuera de la casa y está refugiada debajo de algún árbol, aun cuando está lloviendo, lo de ella es dormir, ah y cazar grillos y mariposas. Cuando Mini Me (el hijo de Esperancita) tuvo el tiempo de comer solo fue una verdadera pelea entre estos dos, pues Silvie es territorial, así que cada vez que este pequeño se le acercaba, se avecinaba una trifulca, ya eso no sucede en casa y, por el contrario, es más común ver a Mini Me, acurrucado con Silvie que con su propia madre.
Sus ojos de un hermoso color azul como el cielo, rara vez es posible verlos, mucho menos fotografiarlos como desearía, porque lo de ella es estar con el ceño fruncido y cara de pocos amigos, además de que anda por la vida como una viejita amargada y con pocos amigos, en solitario vive mejor, sin embargo, no deja de estar pegada a Mathias cuando tiene la oportunidad, a pesar de que Mathias cuando tiene la oportunidad le da uno que otro jalón de cola.
El jueves pasado luego de llevar a Mathias a sus tareas dirigidas su maestra me llamo para decirme que lo fuera a buscar, pues, estaba prendido en fiebre, de inmediato fui a buscarlo y en vista de que me encontraba además atendiendo a mi madre por su reciente quemada, lo deje en el sofá para poder monitorear la fiebre mientras estaba al pendiente de las curas de mi madre, para asombro de todos los que estábamos en casa, desde que Mathias se acostó en el sofá, ella casi de inmediato se postró al lado del mismo, y de allí no se levantó hasta que se le bajó la fiebre a Mathias y el comenzó a hacer travesuras nuevamente, demostrando así (o al menos eso pienso) que estaba preocupado por él, así como él se preocupa por ella cuando tiene algún malestar o se desaparece por un rato. Muchos creen que los gatos son de mal carácter (en su mayoría lo son) y que por esto no tienen sensibilidad o sentimientos por sus humanos, pero, así como lo pude ver con Sombra y con Nena, lo corroboro con Silvie, son más que un animal, o incluso más que una mascota, llegan a establecer un vínculo tan fuerte con cada uno de nosotros que pueden percibir desde nuestro estado de ánimo hasta el de salud.

Los gatitos tienen una particular manera de demostrar su amor 💗 yo tengo un pequeño gatito desde hace 4 meses y parece un bebé, cada que puedo debo estar corriendo detrás de él, pero aun así no lo cambiaria, ha hecho de mis días y de mi vida más feliz
