Dog Memories - Photo Shoot

in Hive Pets3 years ago

Animals are just like humans when they are modeling. In the case of dogs, they can develop a camera-shy or elusive personality, similar to how children can be when they don't feel like being photographed.

Of course, there is also the other side of the coin. Some dogs are flirtatious in front of the camera and show off naturally and calmly to exhibit their attractiveness.

I remember a shoot I did in 2017 when I was still a rookie with my Nikon D5200. On that occasion I wanted to show off great bokeh from the 35mm lens, with 1.8 wide open aperture and that resulted in good shots, but they were a bit out of focus.

In spite of that, I liked the gestures I got from those little doggies, whose names I don't remember. The tiny canines came to my house because a friend of mine wanted to do a photo session with them, because one of the dogs, the most restless and the one that would not let me take pictures, was very sick and she was afraid of the worst.

In the images we see how antagonistic their personalities were and which one enjoyed more in front of the lens. Honestly, I only managed to get one picture of the more restless one, while I was able to take better portraits of the other dog without them pouncing on the camera.

Leaving aside the desire to bite the camera, I still see a lot of similarities between people who get tense, uneasy and even in a bad mood when a photographic device is pointed at them. I don't blame them, I'm one of those who don't like to have their picture taken hehe.

Today I wanted to share these doggy memories with you because I remembered that I had these photos that show me how my skills have changed and also that, despite being a novice, there was already an important achievement as is capturing good moments.

Stay at home and may God protect you
