Hello hello dear friends petlovers of this amazing community, what a pleasure to share with you again and tell funny stories of experiences with our beloved pets, so today I want to tell you a little of how was the second birth of my cat Ruh.

Some time ago I shared with you the sad farewell of our baby kittens when they were given up for adoption, at that time our purpose was to sterilize our kitten Ruh as soon as possible, but the reality here in Venezuela is different and not always things go as one would like, so we could not organize her sterilization before a cat fell in love with our beautiful black cat again.

This is how Ruh had her second pregnancy, her belly this time was bigger than before, we were expecting more than four kittens because of the size she had, so we were a little nervous, our home is an apartment, so having so many kittens running around was not ideal.
As the days went by and it was getting close to the time of delivery, I found a cardboard box, cut it in the front and put some blankets in it so she would be warm and comfortable when the time came.
Ruh never wanted to lie down in the box I prepared for her, not even sniff it so I thought she would look for another place to have her babies.

In the early morning of Saturday, January 28 at approximately 5:00 a.m., I got up to go to the bathroom and was surprised to see my kitten Ruh inside the box that I had not even looked at a few days before.
Like an experienced mother, she was lying down, she had already received the first kitten and was meowing to call us and that was how she started her labor.

I approached a chair to accompany her, I sat in silence while she received her babies, saying affectionate words to her from time to time, just her and me, the first one to be born was River, a very tiny black male, the second one to be born was Raul🤭 (his name because he is the same as the one we think is his father Raul) yellow in color and finally Reina, a female with gray and yellow stripes.I was surprised and a little nervous because there were only three of them and Ruh still looked a little swollen but the first hours passed and then the first few days and little by little her tummy was getting less swollen, so I relaxed because I knew she had no more kittens inside and no more complications.

Unlike her previous delivery I could notice two things, the first was that this time she knew better what to do and she was calmer inside her box, the previous time she just lay down on the floor when the delivery started. The second thing is that unlike her previous delivery when she was very quiet, this time she meowed loudly while pushing so I know it was more painful.

In the end everything went very well and their babies look healthy and beautiful, internally I feel like I want to keep all of them, I know they can't all be mine but when you see them born you love them, so it's very easy to become a crazy cat lady😻
