Espero que estén muy bien y que su día este marchando de maravilla, yo me encuentro mejor gracias a Dios, recuperándome de mi operación de lo cual les hablare en el siguiente post, como algunos ya saben Freyja es nuestra gatita rescatada, desde que llego a casa no la habíamos bañado por que notamos que no tenia pulgas, además era un poco miedosa así que pensamos en darle tiempo, entre el trabajo y diligencias o cosas de la vida en general fuimos posponiendo este momento, hasta que Freyja comenzó a desarrollar un fuerte gusto por ir a los parques, pasear, escalar arboles y jugar con la tierra o hojas, fue entonces cuando decidimos comenzar a bañarla, aunque ella se baña por si misma a cada rato, hay lugares a los que no llega, gracias a que mi pareja trabajo como rescatista de animales por muchos años me pudo enseñar como bañar correctamente a Freyja, aun mas siendo la primera vez que ella experimenta esto.

Para serles sincera yo tenia un poco de miedo, ya que Freyja demostraba tener un terror grande por la lluvia, lo notábamos cuando llovía o cuando ella estaba asomada por la puerta o ventana y comenzaba a llover, se asustaba y salía corriendo a esconderse, creemos que esto es por un trauma que seguro desarrollo cuando estaba en la calle, sin protección alguna, mas teníamos fe de que ella no se asustaría tanto, pues hasta este momento le hemos enseñado a confiar en nosotros, que la queremos muchísimo y que nunca le haríamos daño, para prepararnos nos pusimos ropa cómoda y calentamos agua en un tobo mediano, también un jabón, paño y envase pequeño para poder echarle el agua con mas facilidad.

Tips para bañar a tu gato:

• Calentar agua, es importante calentar el agua para que tenga una temperatura adecuada y así no se asusten a la hora de meterlos en ella.

• Hacerle muchos mimos y demostrarle tranquilidad, Freyja se altero un poco cuando vio que la estábamos sumergiendo en agua, pero con cariño y paciencia fue entendiendo que no era nada malo

• Ten un acompañante, mientras una persona sostiene a tu gato tu puedes ir aplicando el jabón y luego con ayuda de un envase pequeño vas bañando a tu gato

• Por ultimo ten a la mano dos toallas secas, una para envolver a tu gato como si fuera un bebe, lo abrazas e intentas ir secándolo poco a poco, mientras le hablas bonito y le haces cariñitos

• Luego tu gato estará mas tranquilo, puedes ponerlo en tu cama e ir secándolo mas, hay personas que usan un secador de cabello, es lo ideal pero a la mayoría de los gatos no les gusta mucho, a Freyja no le gusto tanto así que preferimos secarla con toallas nosotros mismos.

• Then your cat will be calmer, you can put him on your bed and dry him more, some people use a hair dryer, it is ideal but most cats don't like it very much, Freyja didn't like it so much so we prefer to dry her with towels ourselves.
