Hidden details spreading good vibes

On our last trip, apart from getting to know the beautiful coast of Portugal and the vibes that Lisbon gave me, I noticed that the traffic signs are full of stickers. Not just one or two signs, but really many of them were covered with these colourful items. The photo from above represents one part of a board I saw in Nazaré. There is no empty space on that board. No idea what was the original purpose of that board, but now it serves to give shelter to hundreds of stickers.

Many traffic signs that I saw close to the Castle of Saint George of Lisbon looked like this one. I didn't take more photos, didn't think about that at that moment when we were there as the city and streets, the buildings and the castle took the attention of my camera. I just noticed this detail and later remembered...

...that I had a whole collection of sticker photos taken in Spain, in the little town where I live. All those photos deeply slept in my phone for a while, probably for more than a year. I used to see a sticker and take a photo of it and just left them there. They were not even organized in an album or separate folder, just mixed with other regular stuff I had. It is now the question of time I get them organized and show them slowly to the world. But compared to the number of stickers I saw in Portugal, and especially on the traffic signs, here in Spain it is less popular to do.

Many of the stickers I saw here don't exist anymore. Months and in some cases a year passed from seeing them and taking the photo. On the street they don't survive for long, there are always those who will try to take them off. Especially if they are exposed in a visible place, like a lamppost. This flower lived exactly there, on a lamppost that I passed by while going to the supermarket.

And then you see, the same lamppost, the same flower but it is already damaged. Yes, it is the same flower but as some time passed the colour of it changed. Rain and sun are the culprits.

Didn't they (those who wanted that flower) know that it would tear in that attempt? Poor flower... Anyway, it is not there anymore, not even that part of the sticker.

This sticker was hidden better, on a wall. The background was also white and the flower had no bright colours, so it stayed for a longer time. Actually, we can see that the sun already made it look a bit washed out.

There were also those with a word or a message. Each of the readers can think for themselves what would be the meaning of this one. But it comes right now as it matches the topic of the flowers :D

Unfortunately, this super cool sticker is not there anymore either.

Well, ok, I know that maybe not everyone had the opportunity to watch the movie The Profesional. So if not, it is the time to do it and meet Jean Reno. At some younger age :D

As I was collecting the photos of these stickers for a long time, I had the pleasure to see them in different places, in different parts of the day, and with different messages. Some of them were actually advertising a business, people, blogs or artists. Found this one, Danisa who is a student of the Faculty of Arts in Altea.

A very interesting one, a sticker that promotes a diving school, from Belgium. How it got here, to this little town in Spain? Maybe the owners were here on holiday or some scuba diver from that school Amfibie spent some weeks, months in this part of the world. It is a mystery, but if you one day search for diving activities in Belgium, you can contact them through their website.

Not a scuba diving fan? Maybe you like cars and want to personalize your four-wheeled friend... Now I know where I could do it. The following sticker revealed to me that info... I just need a better car now :D

Speaking about cars... not my one, but could be as it says MP car. What else than MiPiano car? lol
Spotted it on the bumper of a parked vehicle, close to my home. I am wondering what meaning has the MP part for the person who owns it.

More work is waiting for me with organizing the stickers that are still spread out in the gallery of my phone. A few hours were needed for picking the stickers and writing this very first post in the community Sticker Art. I could say that it was easy peasy lemon squeezy, though it for sure wasn't.

However, I am glad I got here to show a series of sticker art spread through the streets of the place I live. I hope that just good vibes are coming from these lines and pictures, featuring the tiny hidden details of the streets!
