When we get into the topic of the high cost of living in Venezuela. It tends to be a long and extensive topic where as Venezuelans we get a heavy heart just thinking about how a country so rich in oil, gold, coal and others is immersed in this great economic and humanitarian crisis. As a beautiful country where many people from other neighboring countries years ago saw Venezuela as a country where to start a new life where they came in search of a better future because we were a rich prosperous country where your future as a professional Venezuelan was wonderful, where upon graduating or having a job you could acquire a house or vehicle, where you could with a well-managed salary buy food, clothes and shoes. Where with the Christmas bonuses, vacations, you could buy school supplies and uniforms, baby Jesus, paint or remodel your home, you could change your appliances, buy medicine and save and an endless number of other things. A country with beautiful plains, the best beaches with a great tourism for which we had millions and millions of tourists who came to enjoy our great Venezuelan tourism.

Cuando entramos en el tema de los altos costo de la vida en Venezuela. Suele ser un tema largo y extenso donde como venezolanos se nos pone el corazón chiquito solo de pensar como un país tan rico en petróleo, oro carbón entre otros está inmerso en esta gran crisis económica y humanitaria. Como un hermoso país donde muchas personas de otros países vecinos años atrás vieron a Venezuela como un país donde iniciar una nueva vida donde vinieron en búsqueda de un mejor futuro ya que éramos un país prospero rico donde tu futuro como venezolano profesional era maravilloso, donde al graduarte o tener un empleo podrías adquirí una viviendo o vehículo, donde podía con un sueldo bien administrado adquirir comida, ropa y calzado. Donde con los aguinaldos, vacaciones, comprabas útiles y uniformes, niño Jesús, pintabas o remodelabas tu hogar, podías cambiar tus electrodomésticos, comprar medicina y ahorrar y un sin fin de cosas más. Un país con hermoso llanos, las mejor playas con un gran turismo por el cual teníamos millones y millones de turistas quienes venían a disfrutar de nuestro gran turismo venezolano.

Con un gobierno que quiere pintar un socialismo de igual corrupta, el cual de 8 años para acá ha empeorado mas y mas con la llegada de Nicolás Maduro Moros con un gobierno corrupto donde pregonan un socialismo de igualdad como quien dice solo para el pendejo, porque ellos viven como capitalista, con los últimos modelos en teléfonos, vehículos, prendas de vestir, como adquieren viviendas de altos costos poseedores de testaferros en diferentes países entre ellos USA al que ellos llenan la boca diciendo ser el imperio capitalista pero un imperio donde ellos les fascina estar de vacaciones donde envían a sus testaferros para adquirir empresas bienes raíces entre otros artículos al que ellos llaman capitalismo adquisitivo.

Adquirir una vivienda, vehículo o artículos electrodoméstico usados en Venezuela, se ha vuelto un boom fácil de adquirir para las personas que tienes ahorros en dólares. Ya que ante la crisis por la cual nos vemos inmersos los venezolanos muchas persona venden a precios de regalo o remate sus vehículos y viviendas para migar del país en búsqueda de un mejor futuro para sus familiares y una mejor situación económica.

Un país rico en petróleo donde adquirir gas es una odisea, donde adquirir gasolina y gasoil se ha vuelto un lujo y un gran negocio para los guardias nacionales quienes tienen el poder sobre el combustible y hacen cobros en dólares.

Un país envuelto en una dolarización paralela que afecta en la economía del paiz son sus diverso sube y baja. Provocando aumentos diarios en los diferentes productos alimenticio, entre otros.

I am a health care worker. I love my work and my profession but many times I think about whether it is worthwhile to continue working for such a miserable salary of 1.800. 000 per month in a job that I love but that generates daily stress for me since I am on duty 24 hours a day and more because we must provide unpaid support to help my colleagues, since after the covid-19 pandemic our health centers are in total collapse and we are not enough with the medical staff and nurses, since most of the health personnel in the country decided to emigrate, since our salary is not enough to live in a dignified manner. A salary that allows me to buy shoes when I need them, go for a walk, buy toys, candy and things that my son wants. To be able to save or buy a house or a car.

A country where studying has become a luxury due to the high cost of study materials and expenses that these imply, as many have to move to other states where they rent residences that have a minimum cost of $20 plus food, and university expenses, which makes many students have to choose between studies or help with the economic contribution at home, where having studies is not worth it since any private employee or peddler acquire better economic income than those who acquire a profession to have a better quality of life.

Yo como trabajadora de salud. Amo mi trabajo y mi profesión pero muchas veces me pongo a pensar, si vale la pena seguir trabajando por un sueldo tan miserable de 1.800.000 mensuales en un trabajo al cual me encanta pero me genera un estrés diario ya que realizo largas guardia 24 de horas y mas ya que debemos brindar apoyo no remunerado para ayudar a mis compañeros ya que tras pandemia por el covid-19 es un colapso total nuestros centros de salud y no nos damos abasto con el personal médico y enfermeros ya gran parte del personal de salud del país decidió emigrar, ya que nuestros sueldo devengado no nos alcanza para vivir de manera digna. Un sueldo que me permita comprarme unos zapatos cuando o necesite, salir de paseo, comprarle juguetes, dulces y cosas que desee mi hijo. Poder ahorrar o comprarme una casa o carro.

Un país donde estudiar se vuelto un lujo por los altos costo del materiales de estudio y gasto que estos implican como muchos tiene que mudarse a otros estados don alquilan residencias que tiene un costo mínimo de 20$ mas alimentación, y gastos universitarios, lo que hace que muchos estudiante tengan que elegir entre los estudios o ayudar con el aporte económico en casa, donde tener estudios no vale la pena ya que cualquier empleado privado o buhonero adquieren mejor entrada económica de quienes adquirimos un profesión para tener mejor calidad de vida.

Every day in the streets of Venezuela we can see the great humanitarian misery that many people of scarce resources are going through, seeing children begging for food or rummaging through garbage, longing to die in lines to buy cash or for lack of food or medicine. People who have to choose between buying food or medicine to save their lives. People who don't eat breakfast or dinner in order to have enough food or have to eat the next day.

A diario por las calles de Venezuela podemos ver la gran miseria humanitaria por los que muchas personas de escasos recurso están pasando, ver a niños pidiendo comidas o hurgando entre la basura, ansíanos morir en colas para adquirí efectivo o por no tener alimentos o medicinas. Personas que tiene que elegir entre comprar, alimentos o medicinas para salvar sus vidas. Quienes no desayunan o cenan para rendir la comida o tener que comer al otro día.
