If You Haven't Updated Your Hive Auto Vote I Suggest You Do It Soon

I don't think I missed many as I updated my auto voter on Hive tonight. I had no idea what the original post was all about as it wasn't clearly obvious. I am not going back to hunt for it, but it was saying you need to update your users you follow and vote on. I do that fairly regularly like once a month as a standard practice so I didn't really play close attention to it and skim read it.

Limited To 2 Posts Per Week Until You Make Adjustments

I hopped on Hive auto tonight as my post normally receives around 115 votes mainly from the auto method and only received 24 this evening. I am grateful for those and I am missing them already. On the site I noticed I would also be light offering votes this week if I don't change some things. We all know we put in how many posts per day but now we need to say how many per week. If you tick on a certain user for one post per day you will currently only vote on two posts per week and need to update to 7 or how many you want to do now.

I apologize if I missed out on any posts and have rectified this going forward. The Hive autovoter post mentioned that it was a necessity to update as many users had things unchanged for years, some as old 4 years. This is understandable as most of us support someone for a good reason. it will be a bit of a bummer to users who only pop on once a month to do some admin seeing that their curation has dried up and will have to do their admin and updates. I knew of two users who automatically voted me who have not been seen for over 6 months so their votes have now been kissed good bye.

I have written about this before that one day I would like to be able to just curate and pop in and out at my free will. This knowing that my votes ares still going out supporting others yet making a return on my stake. I see Hive autovoter as a very important tool for everyone as it gives you the opportunity to take a break if needed. I have been on here daily for 26 months so it is not as though I have taken a siesta yet but will at some point.

Life throws us curved ball periodically and wanting to spend time or being able to spend time are two different things. This is where the auto voting option is a winner as you can flop in and out whenever as though you have never left. I like knowing I have this security as another option to earn and I am sure it is convenient for many others as well.

I hardly get my auto vote again, it's been errh uncool but you know, I just adjusted mine yesterday so the authors I support are now getting my auto votes again. This changes a whole lot

I never used auto vote. I also never was a dolphin for my votes to have some weight on them. Hence I don't really care about any updates. I consider that manually curating content is the best for the content creators. I also believe that doing everything organic will increase engagement and traffic. For the ones tacking long pauses I would suggest delegating their stake to some curation trail that does a good job for them as well as constant content creators.

I did this first thing the other morning. I didn't do it on all of my accounts though and I really need to hop in and make that change. I am probably not maximizing my curation rewards with the way it is set currently.
