Nations are born from shared adversity and I guess that applies to crypto communities like the one Hive has.
We all know that blockchain technology has the potential to revolutionize the world, but it's not always easy to bring that vision to life. Sometimes you run into a Justin.
In the case of Hive, each birthday is not only a date showcasing when someone mined a genesis block or published the whitepaper like its the case with other blockchains.
Each birthday on Hive is also a reminder that this community actually stands for what it preaches. When we had to prove it, we did.

With all the nonsense out there in the cryptocurrency ecosystem that is a damn uncommon thing to see.

The last year was for me personally the second soul crushing bear market I went through during my time in crypto. This time around I only panicked once though. 😄
I guess Im starting to mature.
But at no point did I question the ability of Hive to survive. When Celsius, LUNA, FTX, Voyager etc. were crashing and burning I was tripling my Hive stake.
Those events only made my convictions stronger.

I really dont like writing sugary, sentimental, cutesy posts and I'm on the verge of doing it.
Me big stronk man, me hunt, me throw rock.

But ill say this...

At the heart of every successful blockchain project lies a dedicated community. It is this communities passion and collaboration that drives the project forward, overcoming obstacles, pushing boundaries, marching towards the ultimate goal.
Without the community, even the most advanced blockchain tech is nothing more than useless code.
This community is special and everyone is just a little bit more special for being here.

So Happy Birthday to everyone that considers Hive their home. 😉

Now Im off to find a wild boar so I can punch it.
