This project started over a year ago on Steem to try and help boost the number of small accounts of at least Minnow level (over 500SP/HP). I had hoped we might reach 10,000 users of that level by the end of 2019, but we are still some way off. The number hovered around 9,300 with some dips. The latest numbers show a dip. It is possible some people were put off by the fork to Hive and powered down to cash out. Some may prefer to stick with Steem and may be powering up there. I do not know if anyone is compiling the numbers over there, but the concentration is now on Hive.

The distribution has improved a little as some big Steem accounts did not get an airdrop on Hive. Having a large 'middle class' of users contributes to better reward distribution.
This account has a delegation from @steevc with contributions from others so it can contribute a few cents to posts it supports. Curation is automated using HiveVote. You can contribute by delegating or following the voting trail.
The curated accounts will be reviewed periodically to confirm they are still active. Those that have made good progress past Minnow may get dropped eventually.
I will consider nominations of accounts to support, but with just a few thousand HP we cannot really support that many. You could consider creating your own trail of small accounts to support.
@joshman has his own project to help individuals get to dolphin. Of course a dolphin gained is a minnow lost, so we have to keep building from the bottom. The idea is to encourage people to stay engaged and build the community. It can be frustrating to not get anywhere.
Hive desperately needs to grow if it is to succeed. It should be mainly about community. If it does grow then perhaps our tokens will increase in value and then we all win. Self-interest should take second place for now.
Suggestions are welcome on how we can be more effective in our achieving our goals.
