this proposal is for HiveDapps.com, a dApp statistics website for Hive and also an API gateway, being used by websites such as State of the Dapps.
Goal
Have a reliable way to cover ongoing infrastructure & maintenance costs for HiveDapps.com.
Costs
40 HBD monthly HiveSQL- 60 USD monthly DB costs
- 40 USD monthly server costs
- 1.5h x 30 USD labor per month (maintaining apps, dealing with tech-stack, fixing bugs, etc.)
- Total: 5 HBD Daily (150 USD - rounded up from 145 USD)

What happens if the proposal becomes unfunded?
I've been subsidizing costs via the global rewards pool with automated posts, which are also providing on-chain statistics. Over the recent months, I've been harassed by certain individuals for doing it that way, but if the proposal is not funded, I'll have to resort to that way, which I would prefer to let go.
Benefits
HiveDapps.com is an important tool on assessing some parts of the success of an app on Hive. It's also being used by other websites, such as State of the Dapps, for an easy way to get Hive dapp-data.

Sounds reasonable. I’ll support it.
The only issue I’ve ever had are the large amount of Dapps reporting low and inaccurate numbers if anything at all on State of The Dapps. Would be nice to see a bigger participation rate.
Generally, the numbers are lower than the real numbers, since not everything can be tracked; only on-chain activity, but no google webmaster/analytics activity etc.
With such labor charges, I would like you to respond to people who request that their app be listed on your website.
I did it for my Engage Communication Management app, but so far my form submission (made more than a month ago) as my requests on Slack and Mattermost have been ignored without any reaction from you when asking why the app is not listed.
Do you think that with the funding of your proposal, things will improve?

The reason I haven't approved it yet, and I apologize for not letting you know earlier, is because there is nothing really to track. If you want to have it on there, but is shown as 0 users, then sure, I can do that. Otherwise, you also might want to add something which HiveDapps can track. Like a daily custom_json for those using the app.

Thank you for the quick reply. On-chain communication sometimes seems more efficient.
If you had bothered to contact me, I would have happily explained how to track app activity, although this is a standard tag in the json_metadata of user-generated comments through the app. Nothing really rocket science.
This being said, I heard about your health issue. Glad to see you feel better.
PS1: What does any other proposal have to do with the issue we're talking about here?

No, if you would have done that, it would have been checked. But even then, the meta tag is different than what you added initially. But it's solved now. :)

Suggestion: Just noticed that hivedapps.com does not list hive-engine.com, which should be included in my opinion, because it is the most important DeFi DApp on Hive. LeoDex and LeoFiannce are also listed.
