Let's Give @cupofcoffee A Warm Welcome!

Help show the new girl around! @cupofcoffee has joined us here on Hive through the new program put together by @hiveonboard and invited by muah.

I'm not entirely sure where to find the best materials to give her for learning how this place works, so this post is a welcome that hopefully will bring some really good links to educational materials. (If you guys all wanna' help out).

Welcome @cupofcoffee!

I'll be 'delegating' you a small number of resource credits so that you won't run out as fast and can post more. To explain this in short form:

It doesn't cost money to post on Hive, but the more Hive Power that you have, the more that you can post without having to wait for your resource credits to recharge.

You'll get more Hive from posting good stuff (sharing things about you and your life or whatever you find interesting and enjoy) and engaging with others on their posts.

Eventually, if you stick with it, you'll have enough that you can post as much as you want and never run out. I haven't even thought about resource credits running out in a long time (but I did when I first started here :).

Another note, Hive is a cryptocurrency that is worth real $. You earn author rewards from having other 'upvote' your posts and you can earn 'curation' rewards from voting on other people's posts.

Try to keep in mind...

This place is more about community than anything. The rewards are just a very nice added bonus. Before posting, you might want to take some time to look around at all the different communities and engage/follow others you relate with or find interesting.

After a while, when you have a feel for this place, introduce yourself. When you write a post you MUST add decent 'tags' so that people will see it. You can use up to 8 tags per post. Some good tags to start with might be #ocd #neoxian and many more.

If you post in #post-onhive and #engage-onhive as two of your tags you will be entered into a contest to be delegated an extra 200 hive (worth about $50 at Hive's current price) so you can do more posting and earn more from curation (voting on other people's posts.

This is your short introduction, and I hope you love it here!

Go ahead and give me a follow as well if you like and I will follow you too.

P.S. Other members of Hive - I would greatly appreciate if you have some links handy for getting started here and you could DROP THEM IN THE COMMENTS for @cupofcoffee.

Welcome to Hive!
