- People are people & greed drives people crazy (that includes me as well)
- If Hive watchers won't do the job they do, people would start doing circle voting, vote farming & what not.
- Hive watchers are doing great job (in my opinion)
- Without them, hive & all tokens under hive-engine, value of those would fall like anything.
- It is a pure loss for all.
- No one really uses downvote & if they do, they do for outrage / anger / hate.
- Hive watchers - for them, they have justification for each downvote.
- They are like police / justice system (in my opinion) on Hive
- Starting yesterday, I started following different downvote trails
Downvote doesn't mean that you loose your freedom of speech
- If you think that, your post is going to be controversial, it is best to decline payout.
- With that there won't be any downvotes or upvotes
- And with that you'll still have your freedom of speech

About AI Written posts
- While writing code, I have started using ChatGPT & I also tweeted & LeoThreaded about it. I seek help from ChatGPT now. AI is not future, it's already here.
- According to me, there is nothing wrong to ask AI, to correct the post / update the written article.
- At the same time, I want to say that, I completely oppose the posts ENTIRELY written with AI.
- Let's just agree that, posts completely written with AI, is nothing more than farming on Hive & it just causes loss for all of us.

- Please please add a comment to the post - highlighting the issue in the post
- 3 Comments - 3 warnings
- Please talk to them respectfully
- They are not piece of shit
- Just because you've tons of Hive power, it doesn't grant you the power to humiliate people
- Bala could have corrected the post immediately
- Things could have been handled in better way
- Asking them writing apology - hurts Ego
- People would go to any extent for EGO
- Don't mess with anyone's ego
- Try finding a different solution.
- Stop defining rules on how users should behave after warnings
- Please let whole hive community define rules for it

What would I suggest?
- I know it would be difficult for them to be good people when always dealing with bad people.
- But, I still request them to keep doing what they are doing but treat people with respect.
- Please justify the reason first - before any single downvote
- Allow people to correct.
- Put the user-evidence-post out (if user does't correct, if bad user stay arrogant, and keep posting spam / junk)
- If you get approval from community for downvote, go ahead & downvote contents of users.

I am not part of Hivewatchers and am on the fence about their activities. I use my own stake to downvote.
Who knows! Everyone under HiveWatchers discord server keep saying them, they aren't part but still activity participating. Kind of enjoying the hate-spread.

I have to disagree with you as using AI to correct or amend a post is not very smart as you may as well get it to write it for you in the first place. Where is the personal touch as by running AI over your post you have just removed your input and what makes it unique. Downvotes should rightly follow anyone touching AI for their posts. Use a spell check or grammar check, but not AI.
I agree, but threats, humiliation, abuse of power, disrespect - Do you agree with those too?
There is no room for those on Hive.
That's what hivewatchers are doing, in my opinion.
I do not understand what is wrong with using a AI for posts? Just a tool for work in my mind...
I do not use any automatic mode in the internet, but i like to work with ai as my little helper in the future and full offline on my computers in a sandbox. I can need the help of the functions and i am sure i love to see how the computers talk with me about things, i would not tell in the public in that stadium anymore.
So in the end, i try to use the technology to build something up and not cracking anything down with it.
Would i be downvotet as general now for my futured plans and how i should understand why so many people do not want ai or think she is anything more than just a algo...? I am a legid longtherm miner too and i am sure ai will help us building better blockchains. Is that also Downvoteable and why?
I think in this special case of this user i do not know before, it is not good but ok to downvote. It is everytime ok to downvote. We need more true sights of meanings from people to make some better steps in communication.

Curators not taking time to vet their votes is the problem.
Average users neglecting this part, abuse mitigation, of their stakeholder duties is the problem.

But, most people can't be bothered, and many of the others get on their high horse about never having thrown a flag, as if that was desirable behavior in the hive.

I downvote almost every day unless my downvote VP is zero. Sometimes I leave a comment. A lot of times I don't. I am most definitely not part of hivewatchers.
The reason I don't comment is that when you have heard the same excuses a million times over from the same type of reward farmers it's gets tiring repeating the same old crap.
It isn't just hivewatchers that downvote. We all should. I am glad you are lending your vote to a trail.
If we make downvotes require a community response or a written justification then what about upvotes? Should we write a soliloquy on each post we upvote?

But i tryed it out a time and can say for me, it is not working, becouse i do not see a lot, i realy want to downvote. Earlier in my live, i would be a harcore downvoter maybe, but with the age their comes the chillin in me and all that what i do not like to downvote every day, cost me the hole day in most cases.. :-)
Also i do not see in my little #Deutsch Bubble a lot to downvote. I like the people there on hive and i like to see they using him, for whatever.
If somebody farm that plattform, he would not long votet from users like me, becouse i see it at a point and stop voting up for be a lot harder consequenzes than just a little downvote.

He was given two days without any downvotes, to see if he stops. But he did not, he carried on with his downvotes regardless and kept complaining about being downvoted.
I tried waiting and talking, but they remain on their same position. You can read on my blog what happened: first Hivewatchers, then other users with same thought positions. :(
