WHAT LACK OF SHAME, THAT ABSENCE OF CRITICAL AWARENESS, THAT THE TITLE OF THIS RABBI
Nicolás Maduro received the former Sephardi rabbi of Israel, Rav Shlomo Moshe Amar, in his office, along with the chief rabbi of the Jewish community of Venezuela, Rabbi Isaac Cohen. The meeting was held at the Government Palace in Caracas and was also attended by the first lady Cilia Flores, the vice president Delcy Rodríguez, among others.
Nicolás Maduro said that Rabbi Amar "gave his blessing and expressed his good wishes for Venezuela." In addition, the Venezuelan government media stressed that this visit to the presidential palace is a sign of the "peace diplomacy" of the Maduro government.
Rabbi Amar is visiting Venezuela for the celebrations and tributes to Rabbi Isaac Cohen, chief rabbi of the Israelite Association of Venezuela, for his 40 years of work in the country. For this same reason, Cohen was decorated by President Maduro during his visit with the order "Libertadoras y Libertadores".
Rabbi Shlomo Moshe Amar was the chief rabbi of the Sephardim in Israel between 2003-2013 and is currently the main Sephardic rabbi of Jerusalem. Amar was born in Casablanca, Morocco and in 1962 he immigrated to Israel with his family. He is considered one of the main religious figures in Israel and the Jewish world.
The visit that the Chief Rabbi of Israel had with Maduro was through Rabbi Cohen of the community of Caracas. An absurd visit clearly, particularly when the Maduro Regime has no relations with Israel, is in favor of Palestinian and Iranian demands for the destruction of Israel, supports the terrorist organizations Hamas and Hezbollah. This visit does not represent the feeling of the vast majority of Judaism. The reasons are obscure and generally incomprehensible. As a former community manager of old, I disengage and reject this unusual manifestation.
Nothing strange, the extremists come together to scratch themselves, the great rabbi is orthodox religious fanaticism that tries to govern Israel over its essentially civilist constitution. Maduro and company, what the Jewish community does not know is who is behind this scenario that dirtied the democratic prestige of Israel and its communities in the diaspora.
The Sephardic synagogue of Maripérez was robbed, in 2009 stolen their rituals, work equipment, community archives, Chavista groups that were never shown or punished, on the contrary this Rabbi invited a community lunch at the time as Minister of the Interior, very unfortunately, but it was time to express it publicly, my opinion is also particular, but the only community organization that legally and morally represents Venezuelan Jews of all individual tendencies and characteristics, is the Confederation of Israelite Associations of Venezuela. (CAIV).
For the rest, the Castrochavism from its origin is anti-Christian, anti-Jewish and anti-instituted religion, its founder was finally dedicated to practicing one of the different modes of Cuban Santeria, and also concluded his narcissistic psychopathology in worship of his own god, he same.
And to conclude it is not known who concocted this shameful encounter, thank God that Israel is the only democracy in the Middle East that does not allow itself to be manipulated by the theocratic anxieties of orthodox religious power. The opposite of what happens in Iran with its imams and in the Arab monarchies.
