My Hive Name
I chose the name @KeeperSeeker because I love Keeper of the Lost Cites it is my favorite book series ever!

I can't stress enough how much I love Keeper of the Lost Cites! The author of the series is Shannon Messenger.
Abbreviations for Keeper of the Lost Cites: KOTLC or Keeper (which I may use throughout my posts).

I was born in Indonesia and lived there for most of my life. That is why I say I am from Indonesia even though both my parents are American and I live in the USA.

I like to make clothes for my sisters' Barbies.
Crocheting
Recently I have been making purses.
Baking
I mostly make desserts and breakfast foods but mom has been teaching me how to
make meals.
Drawing

The Reason I'm Writing
The reason I am going to start writing on Hive is... my dad inspired me. He has told me of this awesome way to express your thoughts and of the community he is apart of. I want to write about my homeschool life and maybe share more about the hobbies I mentioned above.

Hi and welcome to Hive. I'm already curious about that book series and hope you'll do some reviews so we can learn a bit more about them. My girls and I enjoyed the Abhorsen series from Garth Nix and his Keys to the Kingdom series wasn't bad either. They were perhaps a bit dark for some, but my youngest (now 18) still loves the Abhorsen one to this day.
I suspect your day dad will guide you on the communities and such here, but I can't miss mentioning the #needleworkmonday community after seeing all those fantastic dolls clothes. I know @crosheille will love them too!

I was casting about for bedtime story options for the boys; and found a classic trilogy in their grandmother's shed.
Magician, Silverthorn, Darkness at Sethanon. Chapter 1 was last night. Love that world. Can't wait to get lost in it again.
Never heard of it. There muddy be so may amazing stories out there that we never get to read.
I tried to read the Silver Brumby series to my girls, as I used to get lost in that as a child, but I couldn't capture their attention with it and it didn't seem as captivating as I remembered, either. I'd have liked to get hold of Anne McCaffrey's Dragons of Pern series for them, but they aren't easy to get hold of now. We could do with a blockchain to preserve all these stories.
I will definitely do a book review. How can I resist talking when it comes to talking about my favorite series.
