28 even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many. (‭‭S. Matthew‬ ‭20‬‬:‭28‬ RV1895)

Today’s verse is one that changes everything. It makes us remember who serves whom. When we think about gods and lords or masters, it should be the lost person to serve the higher.

But the Lord had so much love for us that he came to serve us. Not only serve us but also too be sacrificed. It’s one of the beautiful contrasts between the New and the Old Testament. The Lord never ceases to amaze me.

Never forget His sacrifice or His love. He didn’t do this just to make a point. He did this for you. If you ever feel depressed or alone, you’re not. You are loved.
