I am Very Opitmistic About Hive

in #leofinance3 years ago

Hive has a great future ahead of it. I am very optimistic about what lies ahead for this ecosystem. Over time, we are going to see a lot more developments rolling out that are going to take it to new heights.

In this video I discuss how Hive is now separating itself from other blockchains in one major area. This is something that is not real interesting to users or token holders but is vitally important going forward. For this reason alone, we are going to see a great deal of attention coming Hive's way in the future.

What gives you confidence that there will be buying demand that exceeds the number of people here blogging and using hive as residual income or salary (selling pressure)

In Hive I trust.

That's all folks.

good points, however I think it is not clear how scalable Hive really is. But if we ever have to worry about this, I guess it means we have been successful! Personally, I think there are still a lot of basic things that need to be done before more adoption occurs. A simple thing would be to remove the focus on blogging. This has to become a social media 3.0 site that is not just focused on writing. We can already see it happening with 3Speak and other projects. It is unfortunate that Project Blank is taking a back seat. This would have been so important to have sooner. But I guess we just have to be patient; better getting it right than rushing things out. The other thing is that these front ends just have to be super easy to use. PeakD is doing a great job (as well as 3 Speak), but there is still room for improvement. HF25 should improve things a lot already :)

Scalability is a very broad term depending on how it is used and what it is used to refer to varies drastically. If scalability is meant as in the ability for a user to pay no or little fees in transacting, then hive has certainly reached that goal. If scalability is meant as in being able for millions or even just thousands of users to simultaneously vote, comment, etc, then hive is yet to be tested in that. Or if being able to easily onboard is the goal then hive so far is failing at (gradually is improving though!)

good point!

I don't think you will ever say "I'm pessimistic about Hive" :)
