Not Drinking Coffee Enhanced My Sleep

I've been sleeping most of the nights now and even during the day if I want to. It is because I am not under the influence of caffeine because I am just drinking decaffeinated coffee all the time even in the mornings.

Now I know that I am not addicted to it anymore even though I like drinking coffee because I do love the taste of it. A few years ago I had made it a pint always to drink coffee because I like to be up in the night time. But that had lead me into not getting a better sleep quality.

I often wake-up with a racing heart so I figured out that I should cut back on my coffee consumption. But what had lead me into not drinking coffee was the bad aftertaste that my Cinacalcet was giving me because it makes the taste of coffee bitter too.

It Is Better Not To Get The habit Of Drinking coffee

I just replaced my coffee with sweet drinks like pineapple juice right after I experienced that awful side-effect of Cinacalcet. Then I got bored of the taste of pineapple juice considering that I was drinking it everyday so I just drank a thinned-out coffee as a substitute, or our local lemon juice, or some soda like Sprite or root beer, or just plain cold water. I prefer sweet drink though because I am not fulfilling my caloric needs everyday because of my appetiteloss issue which makes food a lot to contend in eating for about three years now.

Often I would just take some fruit like half an apple or pear instead of drinking to make me cut back on my fluid consumption. That is what I am doing right now and I am happy that I am a caffeine-free individual anymore. You cannot blame me for being addicted to coffee because it was readily available at home right from the start. In fact it was really happy type of drink which boosts my mood each and every cup not to mention being a very addictive drink because of Caffeine.

So as a result of just drinking a decaffeinated coffee I am just getting longer sleep even though I just wake up a couple of time each night but I can go back to sleep right after easy. Then with Gabapentin in my system it just gives me more quality sleep along with other benefits like relaxation, lesser body pain, and even tolerance of the cold environment.

Now it gets me more sensitive to caffeine at my dialysis days which is good so that I can be able to complete my dialysis session which I am only undergoing for twice a week. I was taking about 700 mg of caffeine capsules and energy drink for that matter because I wanted my blood pressure to remain stable. That is my desperate measure because I do not have anymore option lest I will continue to get bad sessions which may increase my body's toxins and definitely will make me not to feel well in-between my session days/

I still love my morning coffee but I keep it at that, in the morning. Only on a rare occasion do I drink any soft of caffeine after seven AM.

Yes coffee has a lot of benefits when you drink some but in my case i rather have no Caffeine in my system because I really needed my sleep pattern and quality not to get disturbed.

Understandable, i'v started listening to soothing medatation music at night to help me sleep. Works wonders for me.

Coffee is one of those habits I allowed to slip into a permanent pattern. A couple in the morning is as bad as I am willing to let it get.

You need daytime naps man! Love them.
