A busy day with lots done. I am a happy bunny 🐰🐇

in #life4 years ago

My front garden is just about finished, all the mes has been cleaned up with all the rubbish taken to the skip. I needed few more plants for the front garden, i have 3 pots of Lavender out there, they are placed in the corner of the garden back to back with the Bee section. The Bee's will have lots of work to do once they have grown. I was going to buy a tonne of red stones for the garden but then decided to add more fresh bark for the pots to sit on. I also bought 2 beautiful Hydrangeas and a tray of 6 Garden mums, I have never heard of them before, the blooms looked different, they are in a long tub, hopefully they will soon fill the pots. All these flowers come back each year, means i have't got to worry to much about the front garden anymore.

We bought 4 big bags of bark plus a bag of compost as i was running out. Hubby emptied the fresh bark over the garden spreading it out evenly, we then filled the pots with my new plants and positioned the pots where i want them.

The arrow shows part of my garden that is a right pain in my neck, there is a drain there so i can't put anything there just in case we need to get into the drain. I am going to have to get a joiner to make me a wood cover that i can lift out when i need to.

I gave all my pots a good watering as it has been a very warm day, well was up until around 6 when the wind started and the temperature dropped quite a bit. All 3 of my garden are now looking good, i am still waiting for a few to bloom then the garden will look colourful.

I am shattered now so much work done but very happy, i now have a front garden that i am proud off, a side garden where the Bee's are happy and a back garden that makes me smile.

This week has been very busy, we have got so much done i think hubby is looking forward to going back to work on Monday for a rest. My house is a lot tidier, i now have a spare room for my oldest daughter when she needs to come home for a change and a garden that people won't turn there noses up to.

I am now off my usual game of bingo, fingers crossed my luck has changed.
