Its been another warm day thankfully its stayed dry with a cool wind that's helping me cool down after a hot flush. I started cleaning a cupboard out in the kitchen, i am trying to do small bits each day. I managed to use a seat to sit on whilst cleaning but half way through i had to grab some kitchen towel and sit in the side garden to cool down.
Whist i was out in the garden i had a quick check on how all my hard work is doing, there's nothing to do out there not the plants are starting to bloom, i have pots that have been blooming for a while, these plants aren't looking so good now so i will replace them with pots i planed later so to have a continuous flow of healthy blooms. Luckily i had took my mobile phone outside, i usually leave it inside, i had caught the perfect time to catch a visiting Bee working on my Buddleja plant.
The more time i spend outside with the Bee's the less i become afraid of them. I used to hate being near one now i don't mind at all, even the buzzing doesn't affect me as it used to. I had so many visitors today, my garden is doing what i wanted it to do to provide work for the Bee's.
Now my garden is heading the right way and here is nothing else for me to do other than clean and store my garden items for next year. I have started to plan what i would like for next year and luckily i found i have quite a few Jiffy pods left over from this year. I also have quite a few Sunflower seeds that i ordered to late to pot for this year. I can get started with these a lot earlier next year with now having my plastic greenhouse outside.
These Jiffy pods are magic as they swell to more 4 times there size and having 1 seed per pod they are easier to pot up when they are stronger, saves so much time and no mess. I use these for all my seeds now.
I finished up with the cleaning then had a rest just before hubby got home from work, i had no intention on doing anything else other than try and stay cool. All that needs doing now is to give them a good watering, i will do that later as i have read its best to water plants when its cooler in the evening, it gets them ready for the next day.
That's me one for today, i can go to bed happy as everything is looking OK. I am content with what i have.
