The environment "Ecology" is the framework in which humans live with other organisms such as animals, plants, and consists of many elements such as water, soil, atmosphere and others, and they are divided into many sections such as natural environment, social environment, Biological environment, etc. In this article, we will mention the types of environmental pollutants, and how to preserve them.
Elements of the environment:
1- Living Elements Are Divided Into
Products: are objects that build themselves up through a process called photosynthesis, through which carbon dioxide is taken from the air. Products can be considered as one of the most important constituents of any ecosystem. Other organisms rely on them.
Consumables: They are organisms that use organic matter, and are divided into many sections such as herbivores, meat dishes, and herb and meat dishes.
Analyzers: is one of the living organisms that transform complex compounds into simple and easy vehicles, and in turn, discard the remains of living organisms.
2- The Non-Living Elements Are Divided Into
Soil: is an important environmental element, consisting mainly of rocks, and there are many species such as sandy, clay, calcareous.
Water: It covers about 70% of the environment, and can be considered the basis of life, as it depends on humans, animals, and plant it mainly.
Light: The most important sources of energy in general, which helps the process of photosynthesis, through which the production of food and organic in both water and land.
Heat: affect all components of the environment.
Humidity: Humidity is closely related to other factors such as air, water, heat, and others.
Wind: Wind helps the survival of living organisms effectively, leading to the erosion of plants, desert crawl, and the fall of fruit from trees and others.
Types Of Environmental Pollutants:
Air Pollution: Air pollution is caused by cigarettes, carbon dioxide, lead, etc. Air pollution is a cause of death worldwide, killing about half a million people a year.
Pollution of waste: It is one of the wastes produced by man in his daily life, usually in developing countries, due to lack of technological development and population increase.
Radioactive contamination: It is the result of leakage of radioactive materials, and their impact on other elements of the environment such as water, soil, and others.
Water pollution: It is one of the most dangerous types of pollution to human health, because it may lead to many diseases such as malaria, cholera, and others.
Pollution of soil: It has many reasons, including the use of chemicals in abundance, exposure to radioactive materials, and urban expansion.
Means Of Environmental Protection:
- Do not waste excessive use of water, for example, it is preferable to replace the spray hose when washing the car with a bucket.
- Do not throw garbage and dirt into the water.
- Moderation in the use of chemicals, because they mainly affect the ozone layer.
- Stay away from the combustion of exhaust produced by fuel.
- Conducting courses and seminars to sensitize individuals to the environment and the risks they face.
- Preserve soil health, through irrigation or avoid dumping dirt and waste in them.
- Recycle waste instead of throwing it, which helps to improve and preserve the environment.
- Avoid the use of pesticides, because they affect mainly the soil, and replaced with natural pesticides.
- The enactment of laws and customs that provide for the preservation of the environment, through the punishment of those who spoil the environment.
- Non-aggression on the rights of others to enjoy the environment.
- Increasing the environmental awareness of individuals and the need to define them in the importance of the environment.
- Attention to the environment by various governmental bodies such as municipalities and others.
- Providing environmental workers with developmental courses, which in turn helps raise their awareness about the environment.
- Providing technical workers working in the field of environment development and technical courses.
