Awesome Restaurant on my Birthday Dinner, ZAB ZAB Restaurant

in #lifelast year

Apart from Benjakitti Park, which was a special place for a wonderful walk among nice nature at night on my birthday this year (as you can see from my previous posts), the ZAB ZAB Restaurant is another place that was chosen for my special birthday dinner….

ZAB ZAB Restaurant is just a small restaurant in the center of Bangkok. It’s situated on Sukhumvit road which is one of the busiest roads.

The restaurant is decorated in cafe style. The atmosphere is really nice. They provide two stories for customers, so that day we decided to climb up the stairs to have my birthday dinner on the second floor and we found that it's a good decision.... It's more comfortable than the first floor.

The things that firstly impressed me once I stepped into the restaurant was that there are some trees both real and artificial decorating here and there around the area.

The greenery makes the restaurant look refreshing and relaxing.

Besides, there are many cute corners and awesome decorations, including the gorgeous hanging lights, that I like.

One of my most favorite corners are these two little adorable girl and boy sculptures.

The boy has the hair style that most Thai kids in the ancient days had....and the magnificent orchid that sits aside him is one of the significant symbols of Thailand...

Their wide and cheerful smiles can invite people to the restaurant and these are very warm welcome. The white letter in the Thai language which is on the bodies of each of them means "welcome".

All the foods they serve are E-San food (the word “E-San” food is well-known among Thai people, it means “North-East food”. E-San foods have hot and spicy tastes.

I think that's why the owner named his/her restaurant, "ZAB ZAB".... (ZAB is local Thai E-San language means "hot and spicy". (you will see some chilies and lemon pictures on the logo.)

And the most famous dish of E-San foods is "Papaya salad" or it's well-known as "Papaya Pok Pok". If you can notice, the "mortar and pestle" which are the symbol of this special food located over the restaurant's name....

It's creative logo indeed.

Most of the E-San foods are my favorites. (I am a Southern woman, but love the E-San food very much.) That’s the main reason why I chose the E-San food for my special birthday dinner and that you already saw the dishes that we had on my birthday dinner via my earlier post…. And as I already told you, all of the dishes were so delicious!

Perhaps, ZAB ZAB Restaurant is one of your choices for your dinner if you visit Bangkok someday.... I highly recommend it!
